Hi all,

 

My brother has been trying to connect to the command and conquer servers online. We both had all games successfully up and running, functioning online and all, but recently his cut out and starting giving the "could not connect to backend server" error without any warning. His account and username are valid and work just fine on my computer, and we have the same antivirus software (not the firewall issue, and we don't have any VPNs or any abnormal software). I have tried just about everything on this forum to troubleshoot it with no luck. Can someone help?

ERROR: Unable to launch Kane's Wrath

 

In addition, he is able to open the games, but only using the game icon. It is like the games are not synced to C&C, even though it says the game is hooked on the C&C main menu. That would explain why that error is happening (no connection to servers), but I have no idea why that happened or how to fix it. He is using Windows 7, and the ultimate collection downloaded off of origins.

That log shows that the launcher is not being run "As Administrator". He needs to right click the launcher icon and hit "Run as administrator" or set "Run as administrator" in the compatibility tab of the launcher properties.
