So I was looking at a really Cheap tablet .It has the Atom N570 processor .2GB ram onboard graphics
Do you think BFME can run on this ?
It's quite cheap deal on the tablet , compared to what's out there now .
If anyone can possibly test this , that would be great .
I won't say what tablet as there is ONLY 3 ON EBAY .

If your tablet doesn't have USB or bluetooth/wireless mouse support, the answer is no, since neither any C&C and BFME game can work well on a touchscreen. If your tablet uses cheap Intel graphics (you need to name the graphics processor type), you have to research how fast that chip is compared to the other graphic cards today before running. Also tablets tend to have very low hard drive space, if you have at least 32+ GB SSD.

No... he's not asking if it would work WELL.  He's asking if it'll work at all.  And yes.  It would work.  But also, yes.. it wouldn't be fun to control.  I guess it's not a game you need a keyboard for, but it certainly wasn't designed with a touch screen in mind.

Even medium-range tablets today should have enough processing and graphics power to run a more than 10 year old RTS game. The question though is why you would want to deal with the small screen, input and software compatibility problems...

Thanks , it has an optical Mouse and real right and left click buttons ..
It is the only one ....no other Company has anything close .
But the tablet is very hard to find ...
Only a store in the UK Claims to have in stock .

Gigabyte Slate PC

So it really is the ONLY Windows tablet that can play old games designed for mouse input .
I just hope the processor and onboard graphics are up to the challenge .

Intel® Atom™ Dual Core Processor N570(1.66GHz)
Intel® GMA 3150 _ Graphics

Also , if you know ANY DEALERS in the USA , that would be great .

If it's a Surface, you should be fine. Otherwise no, it won't even work. Unless someone ported it to Android, or... god forbid... iOS.

It's running Windows 10 ,
I am concerned about the Atom N570 with GMA3150 graphics.

I will be able to answer my own question in two weeks

Bought a used Gigabyte S1080 from eBay ...
If I get BFME2 functional them my dreams have come true ...
Relaxing on my couch playing BFME2 or Warcraft 3 in my spare time

For the record , this tablet has ALOT going for it ...except the 'theoreticaly 'weak processor
1. Full size USD 3 port
2. Full SD card slot
3. Removable Hard drive ...up to xTB
4, upgradeable Ram
5. Win 7 , 8 or 10
6. A dock with speakers and DVD-ROM
7. A battery module add on
8. Optical finger navigation and mouse buttons

If Gigabyte continue their Tablet line and make ONE fanless tablet with OFN module ,
Then I am willing to spend $$$$$$ to get the top of the line model

For now I have the S1080 to try and a possible S1185 ..both with fans .

I sadly have a ''thing'' for fanless tablet PC 's

So I bought it ...and it works ....
Processor of the S1080 IS WEAK .Battery life is 3 -4 hours .
But the optical finger navigation is COOL .
Any game requiring ONLY A MOUSE will work (function) fine .
So BFME1 , BFME2 , Warcraft 3 all work .

So I am looking at the Newer Gigabyte S11M , which is a potential BUY .
But it is VERY DIFFICULT to source , being an old PC model that Gigabyte seems to not care about .

If anyone is interested , get only the S1185 or the S11m series , they are the better designed PC Slate Tablets
