I was wondering if it's possible to turn off the annoying fog effect in this game
I have tried changing .EFECTOS_ATMOSFERICOS to 0 in COMM3.CFG and changed the graphics setting to low but that didn't work.

Extract DATA.PCK and rename it to something else like DATA.BACKUP.PCK.
Drag & drop the .BAS file of a mission onto the DeBsmb.exe.
Open the .BAS file and set the value of the keyword .NIEBLA to 0.
You're welcome!

Thank you
This along with the widescreen mod makes the game look much better I think
Edit:
Got requested to upload it by a friend, so I thought would put here aswell incase anyone else wants
This will turn fog effect off for all missions, has modified .bas file for each mission (only changed fog, other weather effects like snow and rain still there)
http://www.mediafire...FOG OFF MOD.zip
To install just overwrite the data folder from the .zip file into the commandos 3 directory, no need to rename .pck files either

I'd guess I already have this buried somewhere between gigs of Commandos stuff but what is "the widescreen mod" (and where to get it)?
Do you know which resolutions are supported?
EDIT: It's this one right? https://sites.google...home/commandos3

Before touching any data backup files please make some backups of it. There are many SharePoint backup options which will help you with this process. You never know what might happen with you backup files, so it's better to be safe.

Well, at least one of the Commandos fora got a post again. Sadly .BAS files cannot be backed up using SharePoint.
Personally I've always liked The Wildhearts https://www.youtube....h?v=1Qeh8POppRY
