Hi all

Red Alert 3, Steam version, Windows 7

 

Simply: When I try to run RA3 via CnCOnline Launcher, all I got is the splash screen, wich closes after few seconds. Hooked or not.

 

When I try to run the game with the Steam shortcut, it works if isn't hooked.

Logfile:

If you've tried hooking and it does not work, you should delete the shortcut you made, run steam "as administrator", make another shortcut and try again.

did it, and still happens. When hooked, doesn't run. When unhooked, it works (without CnConline)

Please could you try this:

Unhook the game and then launch from Steam (so that the game launches normally). Leave the game on the opening screen (don't try to log in).

Run the launcher as admin then then hit the RA3 button on the launcher.

Attempt to log in and report back.

We've been working on a far better way of launching these games without the launcher. Hopefully, there will no longer be any need for this faffing around. Until then, we will have to work with what we've got.

Im having the same issue and tried the things you said above I bought game from steam and I cannot launch it with your programme. What should ı do? It is waiting to open then nothing happens GOD Im gonna kill myself for that Please helppp

Please could you try this:

I have done those exact instructions and still says it could not connect to the backend server. 

I notice it still tries to log in to GameSpy.

If you guys want to jump on the band waggon in here, you need to post your error logs. Please don't just say "It's the same thing", because it usually is not.

hi i have the same issue i have follow ur intruction from from 19 july at 09:50 AM i see that inside my log file :

ok so now with have more explored with my friend :

 

1. Launch Steam in administrator mode

2. Create an new shortcut

3. Launch C&COnline

4. Hook with RA3

5. Closed C&COnline

6. Launch Shortcut

7. Try to connect with identity server and password

8. "Register Corrupt And modified"

9. Launch the bat file and the result is :

Oh i have forget to give the configuration :

 

• The title should contain the game you are having issues with. RA3
• What version of the game are you using On Steam Last version
• What kind of error do you get and at what time? i have precise on the top
• What operating system Windows10 last updated
• Your error log file. Post on the top
• If you cannot connect to other players, also do this:
  1. Disable port forwarding and DMZ in your router. Already Done
  2. Download the connection diagnostic tool here: http://server.cnc-on...st.rar ==> Done
  3. Extract it into a folder and double-click on the .bat file. Done
  4. Copy-paste the output to your help topic. Done on the top.
