It's happening. Polished and ready is my first album release under the name Artificial Eye, because. Featuring 9 tracks at 47 minutes, that encompass a range of cinematic, synthwave soundscapes. Only five British poundingtons.

Already torrented it.

Just kidding. Don't spend it all at once.

I'm surprised you don't have Heavenly Flight in the list.  One of my favorites.  Unless you renamed it.

Congratulations.  This is the 5th album I have ever bought.  Most expensive one too, you capitalist pig.  Now my starving wife and children can listen to synth music all day instead of eating.

Well gee, I'm honoured. I give you the traditional thanks of my capitalist people: your loss is my gain.

I had a feeling that electronic eye was shaped like an open coin purse.

Just got done listening to the whole thing.  Absolutely love the revamped Love Locket, and looks like you do have Heavenly Flight in there (cleverly disguised as What Awaits).  GOOD.  Like the tweaking you did near the end.

Welp, because 2 out of 3 reddit comments said the name Electronic Eye was already taken (seemingly by a project existing between the early 90s and 2004) I have changed the name to... Artificial Eye! The world will never be the same. And the two people who have bought it can redownload it to have the right tags in their files if they care, or keep the current ones as they'll surely be worth millions in a few years.

I'll keep it vintage and tell the world of your blooper when you earn your Grammy.

Finally got round to putting a couple of videos up onto the YouTube channel. Here's one:

WOW.  You got NASA to launch a rocket just for your music video?  Hook me up with your agent.

I assume you have the eye logo around the footage because the footage isn't wide screen, but I feel like you could do more than just that and the default progression of a trip to space.

The idea came from the aspect ratio issue but I also like that it makes everything inside the iris part of the album cover in a way, and I plan to use it as a theme for videos to all the tracks. These are mostly just backgrounds to the music for YouTube than proper music videos. It feels quite retro in a nice way, sort of reminds of screens in sci-fi movies, also looks a bit like the sort of video played at a concert.

What sort of thing do you think I could've done instead?

I do like how it ties to the album, but just being a static piece of art throughout the entire video was tiring.  10-15 seconds would have been better.  After that, going full 80's and doing some motion graphics with multiple pieces of footage moving around and playing parallel to each other would have been cool, like showing mission control bits along-side of the space scenes.  That would have taken care of the boxy boundary issue and added more complexity to the visual narrative.

I quite like that one.  Putting that copyright money to good use.
