Hello,

OS win7

Everything worked fine till I changed internet provider.

Now I connect to server with no issues, but to almost all players I have no connection, even when I try to play players whom I have connection to game just stuck in DC window.

I tried running that NAT thingy in „How to report issues“ thread, but all I got is:

'.\NATNegTestClient.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command,

operable program or batch file.
Press any key to continue . . .

Help please

I have same problem. Tried to connect to 8-9 different players, and only with 1 I had connection

@Giedrius You need to extract all of the files in the rar file into an empty folder (you can't run from the compressed file). You can't run the program unless the files are fully extracted.

Please could you make your own topic. We can help you from there. Please could you run the connection test too and post the result in that topic.

I know that, I'm not a newbie with computers. I'm managing few servers of my own, so I understand those basic things like extracting before running, running as an admin and so on  ^_^

That message was shown after files were extracted (again, I know how to do it properly). I forget to mention that I don't use any „hamachi“ or „gameranger“ alike programs.

Can you Screen Shot the directory with the extracted files? Obviously, the error message you are getting suggests that they are not all fully extracted.

Yep, I launched Nat-tool and it tell me this:
"Failed to receive any pings from nntest.cnc-online.net:40000.
It appears your router and/or connection is not capable of NAT negotiation.
==> You will need to use port forwarding and possibly configure a static port."

You didn't make your own topic :D

Anyway, I think it is easier to set up a DMZ than to set up port forwarding. KW uses a wide range of ports of player to player.
Can you google your router to find instructions for doing that?

Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you need the results of Nat here :) My english is not very well)

Yes I saw the instructions, but what port I need to set up by "port forwarding"?

No, I suggest you don't use port forwarding.

Make your computer the DMZ (you can google that). You should be able to set that on your modem.

If you really want to use Port Forwarding, you need to forward UDP ports 8088-65535 Make sure you do that only for UDP.

Sorry for disappearing, stuff came up...

After MS Visual C++ update and restart now I'm getting this:

Using server nntest.cnc-online.net:30000
Bound to local port 63403
Bound to local alternate port 63404
Resolving hostname 'nntest.cnc-online.net'...
Resolved server host to be '37.247.49.213'
Sending client INIT from port 63403 to nntest.cnc-online.net:30000
Received server INIT [931846]
Our public address is 84.15.189.135:63403
Sending client INIT2 [931846] from port 63404 to nntest.cnc-online.net:30000
Received server INIT2 [931846]
Our alternate public address is 84.15.189.135:63404
Sending cient START [931846] from port 63404 to nntest.cnc-online.net:30000
Received server START [931846]
Server extra port is 40000
Sending client PING [931846] from port 63403 to nntest.cnc-online.net:40000
Received server PING(2) [931846]
Received server PING(3) [931846]
Received server PING(4) [931846]

===========
  SUCCESS
===========
Received 3 pings from nntest.cnc-online.net:40000.
NAT negotiation works with your router and connection.
==> You do not have to use port forwarding.
Press any key to continue . . .

Still bad connection to other players.
