Based off Steven King's nonsense and the movie, The Mist is about a small town invaded by a... misty substance that does weird things to kill people for some reason. Lots of fun philosophical dilemmas and fantastic cinematography. Great writing as well. It's probably the best horror TV series currently running, so go check it out. ... Now.

There's a Mist TV series? I didn't know that! Thanks for the info, I'm so going to check that out 
After the Twin Peaks finale this Sunday, I need something new to watch anyway.

Wooahh... Twin Peaks has 2 more episodes left, friend. But you should still watch The Mist.

I also didn't know about TV series of the 'Mist', but I saw a movie and liked it very much!
But speaking about Steven King's 'movies' (I mean, films which are based on his books) my absolute favourite is 'The Shawshank Redemption'.

The MIst's show is very different than the movie. It has a very slow build, but has some great moments mid-late season.
