You may have heard the news of Commandos 2 having a full language support for German as of few days ago.

 

I came across an interesting piece of information through SteamDB:

The game now seems to contain subtitles as well. It doesn't have on the legacy version. I don't have the Steam version to see myself, all I own are physical copies. Does anyone have them on Steam perhaps, confirm if true?

 

Also  looks like German version has Legacy build too. Whatever that means.

The legacy build is the original version of the game,where as the normal version has a few updates to the exe such as 720p support from the ingame menu and a different cheat code (you have to type pyroforever instead of gonzoandjon), and the save files go into my documents rather than in the game directory for some reason. i'm not sure if there is any other changes. And I don't understand why they haven't put a Spanish version considering the game was originally  developed in Spain, well I guess they added the German version because playing the English version is banned in Germany and you can't play it without changing the region setting of windows to another country. The original german version has censorship like nazi flags changed to the standard Wehrmacht cross and the dead bodies of enemies turn into bags or graves which is kinda funny tbh.

Good to know. What about the subtitles thing, does it really have it or its just the intro video?

 

Spanish edition might be too much content to maintain already. You never know.
