Hello, dear community!

I am having this problem ever since spring 2018, and it was really frustrating, especially, because nobody was able to help so far. I was home in Austria for some days, and the game went fine, then back in germany for a month, and then back to austria again, and i just couldn't connect to like 90% of all people anymore. I was able to log in, talk to people, and connect to some people, so i was able to play some 1v1 games. If i have done something to cause all that, then I sadly don't remember... I just came back and was unable to connect to most of the players.

I tried port forwarding with your instructions, which didn't work, except for one time when it got me into games again, but these games crashed after the first frame.

The port in the options is 16000.

I reinstalled the game as well, didn't work.

PLATFORM: I play on Windows 10.

VERSION: I play with the normal KW that I bought when it came out.

I got the log as requested in your thread, and the results from the bat-file (after DMZ and port forwarding were deactivated)

NAT negotiation works with your router and connection.

You need to remove the port forwarding you have set as that will make things worse (or not work).    With KW, it's best to set your computer as the DMZ (so everything goes there), if you can.   Did you try that without the port forwarding?

thanks for the help!

I had all port forwarding still deactivated (is in the port mapping options in my router), and now I activated the DMZ in my router options again now, but it still didn't work. (at least like 3 minutes after activating DMZ in my router security options)

Could it be that i misunderstood what you said about making my computer the DMZ? is that something different than activating DMZ in router options?

I could send screenshots, if that would be more helpful.

also the only connection I've been able to establish in recent tryings was to a player from UK, and a player from Germany, if that helps in any way.

The DMZ must be set to a particular computer or network card.     If that is set wrongly (or not at all) you won't be able to connect.      Usually it can be set by the IP address or MAC address of the computer.        Do you know how it was set?

However, if you can connect to some people, it probably means that things are set up correctly but that the connection quality is poor.       You can improve usually that by using a cable connection instead of WIFi and by trying to eliminate electrical noise affecting the cabling between the street and your router.

So here is a screenshot of how i configured my DMZ.

the IP adress 10.0.0.2 is the same that shows up in my KW-network options, next to the Port (16000)

Aktiviert is german for activated...

as for your suggestion that the quality might be poor... i use a cable connection, but i live in a rather old house. However, KW is the only thing that hast connection problems...

Everything else internet related works just perfectly. (streaming, webpage access, MMORPG (world of tanks) ) although meanwhile sometimes i get a connection error in youtube, that goes away after i refresh...

in any case, how would you suggest i go about "eliminating electrical noise affecting the cable between street and router". (I am not so well versed in technical terms).

I will unplug and replug everything for starters and edit this post later.

Nope, still nothing works. Whenever i get into a room, a connection is trying to be established with all present members. All members that enter the room after me, have no connection symbol at all.

And it is still only CnC3 KW that has this problem. I was playing Zerohour via gameranger before.

okay, i managed to find two people i could connect with(in two seperate games). Started the games and upon commencing, immediately the game showed the disconnect screen, without any loading-bar. The map wasn't frozen or anything, but the disconnect-bar also wasn't advancing in any way.

Does this help you understand the problem i have?
