I have an old Sold-out software version of Strike Force, I put it on my new computer but had to deleted it because I had some issues getting to start and figured I'd try re-installing it.

 

Now mid-way through the installer when installing "\Commandos Strike Force:\maps\Ambush.pak". I get a pop-up

 

"Feature Transfer error:

Feature: Game FIles

File  D:\data2.cab

Error Data Error (cyclic redundancy check).

and then the installer shuts down

Had a similar issue with C2 installation before - all because of scratches. You sure the DVD doesn't have those in or around the center? Try it on another PC, should it do the same... go for Amazon.

 

Another step would be to run chkdsk via Command Prompt. Helps sometimes in different cases. Try your luck.
