So I was thinking, I may have an "unexpected" topic idea. This thread is for sharing your experiences on a road trip you've been on that you can recall in some detail, for example, where you sat in the car, what you were listening to, what events happened on the way and what you saw, for those of us that enjoy these types of stories.

How much you want to share is up to you, but I would like to set a few points:

*Road trip should be atleast 3 hours long.

*Descbribe some of the small things that happens on the way, bigger things also if desired.

*Specify the starting location and the passing places and destination.

To set the mood of the thread, I'm going to post this video here:

I want to go on a trip with a friend the other day for a month. When I get there, I'll share all the interesting stuff.

I love road trip stories, so count me in! One of my memorable road trips was from Los Angeles to San Francisco along the stunning Pacific Coast Highway. We started in LA, blasting our favorite tunes and feeling the wind in our hair. The scenic drive offered breathtaking ocean views, rugged cliffs, and charming coastal towns along the way.
We made pit stops in Santa Barbara, Monterey, and Big Sur, taking in the beautiful sights and indulging in local delicacies. There were plenty of small moments that made the trip special, like spotting dolphins playing in the waves and stumbling upon hidden beaches.
Our destination, San Francisco, welcomed us with its iconic Golden Gate Bridge and vibrant city vibe. Exploring neighborhoods like Chinatown and Fisherman's Wharf added a delightful touch to our adventure.
By the way, if you're planning train travel in Europe, don't forget to check out https://www.dbfahrplan.com/de/ for train schedules and routes. It's a handy resource to have on hand!
