Cnc General zh unable to establish connection to cnc servers

im lost with what to do i reinstalled everything again still wont connect online 

im running it on origin version 10.5.71 ultimate collection on windows 10 just got gentool 8.0 it just randomly stopped working last time i was able to play was in Feb 9th

has not been working since..i have tried changing the res an everything i have seen mentioned in the forums with no luck only red alert 3 seems to work but i uninstalled the launcher and those games to try to get generals up and running ...it just hangs on checking for update then eventually says it cant connect to servers also no error log in the temp

Using Generals on Windows Vista/7/8/10 can cause connection issues. Run the game as Administrator and in Windows XP compatibility mode to avoid issues. Also check your Online IP in the Options menu of the game. You must select the IP Address of your Internet Adapter.

the Lan ip or the Wan ip ..? seems to be on lan... how do you change it anyway dose not seem like i can in game only allows me to select the ip my router automatically assigns...thanks for responding by the way

Did you go to the op fire wall and check if it has been blocked?
