Connection issue

Hello together,

 

since one week i´m not able to play online against other players. From one day to the other it is not possible to play a match and i have no idea what is the reason for that.

 

I can login, come to the lobby, open or join a match and also the loading screen is fine but then when the match just begin i can´t move anything and few seconds later the disconnect screen appears.

 

I changed nothing on my system, no new update from win10 side, no new firewall or change, etc.

 

I had this issues several times in the past and few days later it works again but now it seems there will change nothing, still no connection.

 

Did anyone have an idea what could i try or what is the reason for that? Am i blocked anywhere? Was there any update C&C Online side, idk.

Seems like this might be a possible problem with your provider since nothing changed on the cnc online side and you claim that you also havent changed anything, the easiest fix for this would be to try out a vpn that supports ipv4 like https://windscribe.com/. Make sure that the ip in the vpn matches your in game ip and you can also turn on the send delay option in the network settings in game and see if that changes anything.

Unfortunately i had the same result.... the match start but then when some text will appaer on the RANk Maps it freeze and the disconnection screen appears. No movement possible

windscribe has a setting called deactivate ipv6 (with the new interface its just a switch in the options)  deactivate ipv6 and restart your system after that make sure that nothing is draining data while playing  you also need  to change the ip in the game settings    but the deactivated ipv6 protocolls should solve the problem

Thx but i´m a bit confused. Why i should have to use this VPN now? It works well before but for no reason i can´t connect now. I want to understand how this happen...

 

What could be wrong with my provider? What has changed in my connection?

regarding my general lack of sleep i will try my best to explain it so you can understand me there 

ipv6 and ipv4 are internet protocolls 

ipv4 is an 32 but ip protocoll while ipv6 is 64 and above  while you where able to connect without errors  it can happens  that cerain pathways in your connection changes ( since ipv6 is dynamic and can sometimes match a ipv4 protocoll)  but it is most likely that the chnage in your connectoin pathway now seems to bully the game    you may be always able to conect to lobbys and genrals online but the connection between different devices and user in a match is strugglin if your game is trying to connect to an intern ip adress which is not matching an ipv4 protocoll that means that the p2p connection there will be denied or just get lost in the process   the vpn (windscribe) can solve that since its an  ipv4 supporting vpn which is able to help in 2 ways 

1. it can create an tunnel network with isolated ipv4 protocolls so you have an 32 bit only connection (note a few evices or routers cant handle that or just deny that xD because they are bullys) 
2. you can have windscribe on with ipv4&6 which alows ipv6 protocolls to happen and to transfer but the tunnel network will mostly use ipv4 protocolls or match the existing ipv6 ones to ipv4  
3. so if ipv4 does not work use ipv6 

i will copy paste a guidse in here:

  

another thing you can try is using a ipv4 supporting vpn like windscrice free vpn https://windscribe.c...n/?auth_required you can create an account and download it there make sure that you have activated your windscribe account. if you have the programm installed you should have a little windscribe window on your desktop, in the upper left corner you should see 3 stripes click that and navigate through there until you find a switch labeled Ipv6 on default its turned on but we want to turn it off (your pc will have to restart after that) after your pc restarts the windscribe program should autostart (you can just minimize or close it if you dont want to play) but if you want to play you will do following: 1. make sure that NOTHING is draining data in the background (you will get 10gb of data for free every month that should be more than enough even if you play active) 2. activate windscribe and wait until its connected as soon as its connected you can check again if anything is draining data 3. launch the game 4. in the game main menu you go to options 5. change your online and lan ip to the second available option (or the one that does not match any of your ips you might have been using with hamachi or something) 6. connect to genreals online (note it can take a few trys until the game will let you connect) 7. start a match with your mate and see if its works 8. if not try to change host and change who is using windscribe ( for example you use windscribe and he dont but it wont load so he uses windscribe and you dont) 9. in some cases it can change who needs to use it over time sometmes even both players needs it while ( me and the boys always need to circle the windscrib using one if we play but only if we are more than 2 people so connections can be weird sometimes) i hope you can understand me stay safe

 

PS: windscribe does not change any pathways in your actual pc connfig so you dont need to worry about switching back and forth in the options. as soon windscribe is deactivated everything wilol go back to its vanilla state

Wow, thank for this long explanation!

 

But to make it a bit shorter - i re-installed the game and now it works again.... sometimes this step solve all your problems but still, i dont know what was the reason for that. Maybe the game will be "old" after long time on your pc and then it is time to "refresh" or something like that.
