I have 1 router with 2 comps in LAN. Coonections beetween them is fine (smb). I buy 2 copies RA3 for two independent steam acc. I register two revora acc. I play internet match with one account. But i can't connect between them - i have error connection error 1-2 if create a server. In the firewall windows have rules for this games for all ports and i try turn off all firewall on both computers.

In the settings game i choose IP 192.168.1.X and 192.168.1.Y. If go to game - NETWORK game - i don't see other player in the list, only self name.

What i need to do for play in 1 router for two peoples?

Pls help me I buy 2 games despite the fact that I already bought it on disk in 2009. I had a son in 2013, now he is 8 years old and we want to play in this game together, but we stiil can not connecting

Well, i found temporary solution, but this is bad solution. First RA3 copy i started like always, but second i started with change internet source of computer (connect VPN to my work computer in other physical area). Then game work in cnc-online and we connecting fine. But i don't like it, because i want play in LAN. I don't have constant free VPN service. I don't really trust free VPN servise like windscribe, and it's possible slow down the connection. Maybe i'm wrong

As long as you use windscribe only for playing the game you are golden, furthermore yes a VPN will always slow down your connection to an extent since it is another hop your connection has to hop trough. After re checking, I see that RA3 does not offer direct connection, so I'm also not really sure what causes your game to not show up in Network play.

However, I want to add that no VPN service in this world will ever improve your security or protect you from anything it's really only good for surpassing region locks if you want a "secure" VPN you will have to host it up yourself using a debian or ubuntu VPS.

It seems like in your case windscribe seems to work even with some possible lag, but there is not really an alternative you have to either use VPN or change the network preferably the router/modem the connection goes through.

Ok. I'm accept this, we play some games with son with this options. But i just want to know - why cnc-online can't connect in one LAN? And why RA3 (without cnc or with cnc) don't see other player in LAN ("network" in game)

If you 2 try to use one router to connect  online, your connection tries to go the same path since the game connection is p2p and connects router to router  you would end up connecting to yourself which obviously does not work out, so we use a VPN, so the connection of one player goes a different way and ends up changing the IP used as well this makes it possible to play online via the same router otherwise you would not be able to connect.

I don't really know what would cause ra3 to not recognize games in the network.
