Hi Revora team, any advice would be great, even if its something like, "Just by the Steam edition there is less known problems" I have been dealing with connection issues since coming back to the game this year. I eventually found a method of setting up DMZ and port forwarding combined with the use of a VPN, which allowed me to connect to other players. However yesterday i lost connection, attempted to log back onto the Kane's Wrath Online and got hit with the "Could not resolve back end server" error message. After about 30 mins this turned into a "Can't connect to Kane's Wrath Online" error message, after another short period of time I was able to get back on as per normal. However I can no longer establish a network connection with other players. If your familiar with Kane's Wrath online GUI, I have attached a photo titled problem.jpg to clarify what's happening.
What version of the game are you using:
Electronic Arts Ultimate Addition
What kind of error do you get and at what time?
There are no errors that show. I can connect to the online menu and i can see other players and i can join game lobbies, but I cannot get a connection to the vast majority of players. Some players (very few) I can establish a connection with and the game works flawlessly.
What operating system are you using?
Windows 11
Your error log file.

Check if you have any VPNs running:
I used to be able to run a VPN and connect to other players, this changed last night (Nov 7th 2023) I am now experiencing the above issue
Make sure that your Firewall is not interfering with the game or C&C;Online/Gentool:
Exceptions in my Windows Defender Firewall for both private and public are for the below:
cnc3ep1.dat
Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath
cnconline.exe
CNC3Launcher.exe
EA app (EABackgroundService)
EA app (EAConnect_microsoft)
EA app (EADesktop)
EA app (EAGEP)
EA app (EALocalHostSvc)
Activate the "Send Delay" option in your game settings and try if that fixes your issue
I have tried this, if the "Send Delay" is not activated then I cannot see any lobbies appear in the Online menu, see photo attached titled nosenddelay.jpg. So I always have this option checked
Got to your games settings and check the IP/s that are selectable in the Network tab include the first 3 digits of the IPs in your Post.

Disable port forwarding and DMZ in your router.
I have now disabled my DMZ and port forwarding, I used to have both setup as that was the only way to connect to other players, but i have disabled both now as that method is no longer working as of yesterday
Copy-paste the output to your help topic.
See below
- I am located in the Philippines, a country notoriously bad for internet, however my Fibre connection consistently gets over 900 Mbps and with a VPN turned on the speeds and ping is still respectable.
- I am using an ethernet connection
- I have reserved a DHCP Static IP address for the PC im using
- I have also checked to make sure that my router or ISP are not blocking ports, using the Command Prompt if I type in
netstat -ano | findstr -i SYN_SENT
there are no entries that show
