Hello guys, maybe you all can help me.. i´ve bought yesterday the ultimate collection from the ea app

 

after that i looked for a way to play online and found gentool and genpatcher..

 

after i installed everything i tried to play, generals? there is not 1 point where i found an issue..

but with zero hour there is 1 big, i launch the game - try to go online - while i look at the window where i type in my registered account, there is another small one where it says "this game installation is not compatible with online matches. remove custom game modifications"

 

the problem is: i just downloaded all and never tried to change something.. 

 

i´ve read on the revora site that everyone with a gentool 7.1 or above version are instantly blocked from online.. i dont know which one i have, 

i´m not really a genius on the computer 

 

please i need help haha

I'm getting the same problem with the Steam version. I used GenPatcher to install GenTool and community maps, but cannot get online.

 

EDIT: I was able to fix this by removing the custom hotkeys that GenPatcher had installed. I also had to add these registry keys to get onto C&C Online:

 

    HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Generals\ergc\(Default) = 0000-0000-0000-0000

    HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour\ergc\(Default) = 0000-0000-0000-0000

I did it but i still get the message "registry was modified or corrupted" and i cant go online =/

Just installed via Steam too and having the same issue. Not overly computer literate so if there's a "how to" on this it would be really appreciated.

I've got same issue

 

Installed Gentool and CNConline - hooked them. But get the message "registry was modified or corrupted"  when i log in online before i can select country.

 

Not really sure where to find / change CD key or what the  'custom hotkeys'  mean and where to change them? and clear how to would be great if anyone can help
