hi guys i have an issue with c&c generals zero hours. since the last update i can start the game and hear the intro but dont see anything due to black screen. is there a way to fix it? i can see that other people are playing on the cnc.net website, seems that they dont have this issue. i already deinstall and install but doenst work. because of this i wanted to download the 1.04 patch but it isnt available anymore.

Same here. Worked fine before the update. Searched all over and can't find a fix.

And if i delete gentool, then its working... but then i cant play online

Hmm same. Just deleted gentool and it worked. Reinstalled.. black screen. So it's something with gentool I guess. Guess I will just play solo until gentool is fixed.

Try using GenPatcher; it has widescreen fixes and a bunch of other patches

New update just came out. It's working now

Steam reinstalled General/Zero Hour and I reinstalled Gentools and C&C Online Launcher and ran Genpatch, still do not have the higher resolutions.

ok scratch that Updated worked as far as no black screen but it gave a gentool error and said to update to current version which I was on. Ran genpatcher and it's working. Haven't tried an online game but assuming it will work. I'm running 2560 X 1440 and it's running fine.
