Hi all,

 

I've been trying to launch Red Alert 3 with no success. All programs (CnCOnline, every RA3 .exe) are elevated with administrator permissions, I even tried launching CnC Online with Windows XP compatability to no avail. Are there any other steps I can take?

 

Edit: I'm playing the Ultimate Collection version through the EA app (as Origin is now defunct). I've disabled all of the auto update and overlay functionality. I have also tried installing the fixed launchers patch. The game is properly hooked as far as I can tell. I can launch it just fine when it isn't hooked. Game is version 1.12. No matter what I try when I hook the game and launch it and then try to launch it through the CnCNet launcher I get the error message "Unable to launch Red Alert 3"

Is there any way for me to direct the CnCOnline launcher to the correct directory?

Same here, no fixes online helped. My friend also has the same issue. It is beyond me why was this not resolved. A lot of people are having these issues and no pinned posts here...

Works great, can join other games, but cannot join my friend, it say 

"The host has left the game"

Thanks Frosty! With that I'm able to successfully launch the game after it's been hooked. I see some online games that are open, though I haven't had a chance to play coop with my friend yet. I'll see if it works sometime soon.

I have it from the EA App and it works. Make sure you followed other steps and set RA3, RA3 launcher and EA app in run as admin and compatibility mode for Win 7

In addition to what Frosty said, make sure to turn off auto updates on your EA app. I'm also using it via EA.
