All this sounds like a mighty big undertaking for a single person. I'd help if I could, but I have no clue on how to edit code, create vxl' or shp's. Hell I don't even know half the things I just said.

I know that every modder hates this question, so let me put it as tactfully as possible: when do you percieve the completion of this mod will come about? There, that did just nicely I think. ;)

Lol ;)

Well, assuming I get my laptop back this coming week (apparently the engineer is still working on it...) I hope to get out a fairly polished version Jan-Feb. To meet that deadline, and to incorporate and feedback from v0.96, I'll, be releasing a second version (0.97) later. Currently, I believe that is not only achievable, but also the best thing to do.

I'm unlikely to be online much over this seasonal holiday, but I'd like to show you all some of the progress (and the new units :)).

All six sides (US, UK, PRC, Russia, Iran and Germany), plus lots of neutrals for placement on maps :p

I'd like to get some new infantry, but they may have to wait until v0.97 or incur a big delay of v0.96. I'm for the former :)

How is progress going? I've seen the great units you've redone already. Could you please tell us what you've got planned for v0.96 as far as gameplay changes, german units, units being removed, units being added and units being updated. I think this'll tide a lot of us over as we wait for the release.

Thanks :)

I have about half the units all done, but have decided to delay the release a bit.
I've had an offer for new buildings, and would like to get a decent debris for each unit enabled too.

This means a more polished release for you though, and also means that any following versions will probably just be tweaks rather than major updates.

...I wanted to see the size/scale of the voxel - that's why I asked for it. I already have one for CR though.

And if you like tanks and armoured fighting vehicles in a slightly more realistic setting than most CnC games, you will prolly like CR :)

Oh boy. Not only did this person bump an almost-5-month-old topic...

But he ASKED THE QUESTION. :blinky:

Maybe it will, maybe it won't .

It'll come out when it's done.

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Andre 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Y'know, there comes a time when that automated response gets a little old, Andre. My advice is just not to reply when someone asks for an ETA anymore, unless you have a date, whether final or approximate. :blinky:

I recommend telling them Feb 14th.

If that date comes, and it still isn't released...
ban the fools who asked in the first place.

It's probably their fault. Bastards.
