I am having some trouble playing CR, or even normal YR, online with my new computer. I just got it in September and i thought it would run YR better than my 5 year old PC. However, when I play online, the game runs very slow and there is a 2-3 second delay between when I click on a unit and when it reacts. I do not have this problem on my older PC, which can't run anything better than YR. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Do you only have this problem when running Code Red or Ra2/YR in general?
The most obvious thing would be the settings for you modem/connection however, perhaps a firewall?
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Andre 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

What videocard/ soundcard do you have? Did you check for conflicts?
I recall a patch to run YR on XP machines (on C-Gen??) but i'm not certain where to get it.
