Hope this is the right place to post - I'm looking for a new website to keep my artwork on, was wondering if anyone knew any good ones? I'm currently on Side 7, and have been for about 4 years ... but it was hacked a month ago and is still acting up, despite being fixed, and the updates from other artists are coming few and far between. I don't wanna leave because it's an excellent site and has helped me improve no end, but there's just nothing more I can do with it unless it returns to its former self.

Please don't recommend Elfwood (I found it to be rather pompous in tone, lol, and it won't hold most of my work anyway) or Deviantart (final choice if I can't find anything else and if Side 7 really goes downhill ... the uploading and navigatin' kinda irritates me).

So if anyone knows a site that's neither of the above and not furry based (lol) ... I'd really appreciate it!

Try www.photobucket.com. It's by no means as good in terms of publicising your work as DeviantART, but it'll host as many images as you like which you can then link to any site you want...even DA.

But yes, if you want to get your work seen, your best bet's either forums or DevianART.

Homobucket is slow. If anything - use www.imageshack.us. At least its fast and you dont have to log in to upload.

ARGUMENT FROM CREATION, a.k.a. ARGUMENT FROM PERSONAL INCREDULITY (I)
(1) If evolution is false, then creationism is true, and therefore God exists.
(2) Evolution can't be true, since I lack the mental capacity to understand it; moreover, to accept its truth would cause me to be uncomfortable.
(3) Therefore, God exists.

Are you talking about art communities which at the same time let you post images (like DA) or just image hosting services?

Well art communities prefererably, but I'm open to all suggestions. Sorry, should've explained myself better!

Nice art community, used to be active a lot there but kinda passed on recently. Im sympathetic to them though and watch their forums sometimes.

Heya, thanks very much for the link - although, it seems to be photography only? I had a look through the galleries and that's all I could see. My apologies if I was just being blonde and not looking in the right place.

Try http://cncdepot.net/blaze/

It's just launched today and is run by a staff member of my network. Take a look through the gallery and get back to me. :)

Wow, this guy's got some gorgeous artwork up there! Is the site planning on becomming a community later, or is it just for personal display? Either way I'm not complaining, very pretty stuff!

It was currently planned as a place for Blaze to showcase his artwork, but if your stuff is good we could come to a similiar arrangement. :)

Actually no, there are just lots of people with cameras there. Normal art is put up just as much :)

Ah, maybe not then. My stuff's nowhere near that standard. :p
I'll keep watching the site though, it's beautiful work.

Eh ... :ninja: ... well some of my 3D stuff is in the 3D forum here. Is there any way on here that you can send private messages? I've gone all shy and I don't want to post my archive address for everyone to see, considering it's all hand drawn stuff. :D

The worse thing that could happen is a bunch of geeks that you'll never meet in person will find it bad, and I don't think that would happen.
