And - how the hell can you trust a prebuilt computer bought "as-is" from the store? They dont even allow you to pick your own stuff, which means they can put anything in there and charge you shit. They usually cost about 20% more than if you were to buy the parts yourself then get someone to put it together (even a technician which would take money for it). Be smarter than those jackasses who put something in a box and call it "a working computer", register at a hardware modding forum, the peeps there would probably post a list of things with which you could get the best possible usability and speed for a price you choose.
You wanna know why? Example: Nvidia gf fx series was just a bit pumped up gf4mx, so you basically were getting an old card for a high price. You should care. You could get a much better card for that money.
ARGUMENT FROM CREATION, a.k.a. ARGUMENT FROM PERSONAL INCREDULITY (I)
(1) If evolution is false, then creationism is true, and therefore God exists.
(2) Evolution can't be true, since I lack the mental capacity to understand it; moreover, to accept its truth would cause me to be uncomfortable.
(3) Therefore, God exists.

Isnt it obvious that one big drive has a lower performance rate than 2 smaller ones? Besides if the one drive should die youll still have the second one. And theres the benefit that if you use both drives at the same time the speed will be the same, not halved like in the case of partitioning one big drive. Large drives (200gb+) are inefficient.Well actually you'd be better buying one large hard drive and partition it into smaller parts so you can defrag alot faster and it isolates the drives. Partitions creates mini hard drives from on hard drive. It limits virus spawning, and allows quick defrag and virus scan on each partition(hard drive)

I know what partitioning is. I use a separate partition for longhorn/windows vista
