The helmet looks sorta like WWI british soldier but the model looks good. Maybe after the skin job it'll give a differant feel.
For a common swordsman, should he have a common round simple shield. That's a knights shield.

awesome work on the face, but the UVWmap for the sword seems a bit screwed up
