Well, I know the news posts have been quiet of late, and many of you are wondering how the mod is doing. Well, i'm here to say that i've got a few good treats for you all to oogle over.

First off, i'm gonna show you all the Ardent Militia. This will be a more advanced melee units, with a higher attack power and a good amount of hitpoints more than the honor guard. He'll be a slight bit more expensive than the honor guard, but the payout will be apparent as soon as he's on the field.

Second, I'm gonna be giving you a building or 2 to take a look at. Ok, so i lied, i'm revealing 4 new buildings today.

First of all, the Barracks. This is pretty self explanitory, but just incase, it's purpose is to create your basic ground troops and send them into battle.

Second, the Tower of Eons. This will make your more advanced units for the white team, the Angels. Flying units with special abilities and even though they may be angels, they have one hell of an attitude.

Third, The Plains. This will be your mana producing building for the white team.

And last, the Wall of Light. A glowing stream of light as a wall, that helps slow down enemy units from completely annihilating you when things go badly.

Can i be the first to point out that there's 5 buildings in that image?

Also, they look great. Can't wait to see textured versions, to really get a feel for the look of your game/mod.

Looks cool. Just one question... well more so something i think would be cool. You said the walls of the white team were going to be "energy" drivin right? well i think it might be cool that you can turn them off! Almost like a postern gate... but it would cost enery to maintain the wall. So every mana stage you wouldnt get as much. In this way they have a great advantage and a large distadvantage! Any one elses thoughts?

You mean a little bit like in the C&C games? Once you don't get enough mana, your walls wouldn't work?

well... sorta... but i was thinking more like say every mana turn you get 50 mana. Then u build a wall that consist of say 20 squares. If you have all 20 of those sq. working then you will only get 30 mana a turn. But if you base isnt being attacked you can put the sheilds down so you get the full 50.

Maybe it could work, but I don't code, so I don't know if that would be possible. BTW, if we would do that, it would have to be almost impossible to destroy those walls. And I don't think disabling the walls when you're under attack would be a good idea.

Naw, the walls themselves are going to act as a normal wall peice. In the card game itself, walls are basically a creature that has little or no attack power, lots of hitpoints, and cannot attack. So they'll be represented as just wall segments
