I told mastermind I would never ask for a server ban unless it was necessary, but the above IPs come from hackers, hackers who hacked me, hacked the Halo forum on EaWNexus, and the last IP address is at this moment a hacker hacking te IA2 site. I request these be banned from the server, it won't stop but it will slow down.

They havn't done anything here..and for all you know the hackers could be using zombies and then you're blocking innocent people.

85.234.144.215 is either a bastard or infected zombie ( Source ). Due to the few entries on google and no mention on any proxy list, it doesn't seem to be a proxy.

218.11.207.244 is a public proxy. ( Source ) and it's responsible for a major ammount of spams anywhere ( Source )

83.102.220.98 is a public proxy. ( Source )

84.17.224.252 is a zombie or bastard hacker who attacks old IPB forums. ( Source ). It is not a proxy.



From the 4 address, it's recommended to ban all, except 85.234.144.215.

Now wait just one cotton-picking minute. How come is it that Ched gets to set a ban filter and yet Blaat and I do not? Are we somehow deemed unworthy of such an ability, when it's clear that there might be a problem?

as far as I know, you are an admin and have the same rights as I do in the Panel.

After what Banshee laid out on the various IPs, it seems undoubted that those IPs were not going to bring anything constructive, and so I added them to the blacklist. If anyone has a problem with that then I'm more than happy to discuss it and to, should it be needed, lift up the ban on those IPs.

No need to make a drama scene in the hostees forums really.

Hm, maybe not. I also apologise if that sounded like I was in any way attacking you; I wasn't. I've never been happy with this condescension on me and Blaat (we've had words with Tom about it), but whatev.

Your admin rights are definitely not the same as mine and hers, however.
