Description: Seeking unification of Soladia and the removal of tyranny and threats to global security, the ComFIAN memberstates enjoy considerable mutual defence and trade franchise benefits. Militarily powerful, the alliances provide strength and security to themselves in the face of a world full of enmity. It seeks to strengthen and generate solidarity among its memberstates in particular, in order to better protect them from any outside aggression.
(Terms of the ComFIAN)
This alliance holds a number of responsibilities which must be upheld:
- Obviously, a state of nonaggression and mutual defence is to be put into place between all ComFIAN memberstates.
- All memberstates are expected to intervene whenever another memberstate is attacked without provocation. Participation in any pre-emptive incursion of another nation, however, remains voluntary.
- Unconditional support for ComFIAN-orchestrated peacekeeping operations.
- Assistance and support is to be rendered to memberstates in the event that their economy begins to run into difficulty, however the support and assistance is to be repaid at the earliest achievable opportunity.
- Mutually better tradeable goods price priorities for ComFIAN memberstates. ((OOC: That is to say, ComFIAN memberstates get a discount on goods from other ComFIAN memberstates, whereas non-ComFIAN nations do not get this benefit))
- In the event of trade disputes between ComFIAN memberstates and non-ComFIAN nations, other ComFIAN states must be pledged to make up the deficit if able. ((OOC: If you are importing steel from another nation, and they cut the trade rights, another ComFIAN memberstate which produces steel will make up for the loss by exporting there))
Already-existing ComFIAN memberstates will jointly decide on the admission of any requestee, or on the decision to send invitations to other states. A majority verdict will permit admission or invitation. However, a majority verdict can also be used to expel a nation deemed unworthy of its place in ComFIAN.
We do not discriminate on government type or nation's political sway or on geographic location or on armed forces power.
The Atlantian Empire and the Free Repubic of Belka, as founders of the Commonwealth, reserve sole rights to amend the above terms. Should the two nations decide that a third party may amend the terms, they will inform of this by amending this paragraph.

Current ComFIAN decree states that the Nation of Casmire is currently not to be considered a friend of ComFIAN. Any claims to territory, land or resource rights outside of their own borders is to be disputed at every opportunity, regardless of diplomatic ties. ComFIAN has no quarrel with other nations of the alliances Clandonia has entered into, however.
