The country of Yuktobania has had a troubled recent history. 40 years ago, when the old monarchy was overthrown, a power vacuum was initiated that led to the adoption of a socialist dictatorship, much to the angst of the people. As time went on, people began to accept that the government was there, and there was not much to do about it, until Titus Cooper, a teenager, destroyed an entire military work camp where prisoners of the state had been held. This gave people hope, until Titus had to cross the border to the Aesanian Union, where he swore to come back and free his people from the tyranny of the old dictator, Boris Anurov. As Titus sat in wait to try to return to his home country, he went to an AU college, and learned a lot about capitalism, and how it was the freedom that his people were looking for. When Titus got out of the AU, he was a more mature, more intelligent man with a plan to help his country. He gained the trust of the military, and staged a siege on the capital of Yuktobania itself. As the dictator had gone senile during the years that Titus was absent, he was removed from power swiftly and with joyous applause from the population of the capital. As he had become a hero of the Yuktobanian people, the catalyst of the revolution, Titus Cooper, became Prime Minister in a sweeping election, getting 71% of the vote. Because of the power vacuum that occurred after the downfall of the socialist dictatorship, different socialist factions attack the capital, trying to restore the corrupt government of yesteryear.
