**Clandonia national anthem plays*

Premier Urkov stands in front of you today for the glorious propersing nation of Clandonia, we are going into a new age, a new age of naval supremacy. Our modernised ship yards and industy have comeneced on a massive naval expansion programe of redevloping the ageing fleet. The cost will be great, but the new advancement in our small nuclear reactors and the Socilist might of the nation means we will achieve our goal!

*lots of clapping*
Our new Clengor class destroyer desgined is unveiled over 20 of these will be built for the glorious navy!
Posted Image

A new Battleship named the Prince of Wales class will be built to operate as a front line attack force.

Posted Image

A new era of the Dreadnaught has arrived, the Yamato cruiser capable of rivaling other nations.

Posted Image

The hood class cruiser capable of off shore bombardment with canons and missiles from up to 100 miles away.

Posted Image

A new aircraft carrier for a new breed in VTOL aircraft is commisoned named the Pride of Clandonia to provide landing craft support will replace two our helicarriers. Our aeronatical enginers have worked hard on developing VTOL carriers for troops and equipment capable of short ranged trips.

Assualt troop transport and heavy lift transport for vehicles

Posted Image

And lastly as a fitting tribute to our great leader the Urkov class submarine capable of long range missile attacks and ship hunting. Useing running on silent technology using high denisity lithium fuel cells.

And that is it, I commision it to our naval commander in Chief Latov, and I wish luck and good health to our workers and service personal who will build and operate these fine vessels!

*music ends the ocasion*

OOC: There's nothing inherently wrong with these yet... just make sure they're not as big as they look in the pictures.

OOC:Yeah they are the same size as ships today, the longest is the Yamato which is just a bit shorter than say the Iowa.

OOC: Ok, yeah that's fine. The one issue is you can only get so long and so thin with a single hull before a slight wave will tip you over.

OOC: That is why it has a large stabalising weight on the bottom that also acts for sonar and underwater observation, and side skirts a bit like the Dreadnaught out of RA2 that the Soviets had which keeps it stable and provides a cooling for the weaponry systems.

OOC: You'd need to adapt a few designs slightly. I'm not convinced a couple of them would truly be seaworthy :p Also, this will be costly.

Belka too applauds the developments, and would be quite interested in commissioning your ship designers to make a new breed of destroyer and cruiser for the Free Republic. Our aging designs have shown their ineffectiveness in a few recent combat manoeuvres we've attempted. In fact, our cruisers were successfully bombed by the F-35s and the Su-37s on numerous occasions in simulations.

We would be more than happy to invest a repayment loan to of ten billion Belkan Regals assist in your shipbuilding (to be repaid over the course of the next two decades) in return for this service.

The designs and schematics are yours, we are a Socialist country we belive sharing with our ComFIAN allies is a good thing. We hope our modernised naval forces with these designs can work effectively together.

OOC: when pyth wanted to build a single flagship, you guys said it would cost trillions of dollars and would be impossible, and gave him tons of critisism and even closed his thread. Now, clandonia (whose economy should be just as effected as pyth's) wants to build seven highly advanced completely new watercraft, and you guys are being very supportive and are not pointing out that this would be extremely difficult for clandonia to do, even with the help of ComFian.

OOC: Yes because my ships arnt the size of small countries and dont have riduclous numbers. Clandonia is having ComFIAN support for the costs, the ships had already been planned and were under construction by the previous administration but the navy was largely abandoned due to building up of the airforce and army.

OOC: still, pyth was planning on building ONE ridiculous ship. Yet you are working on seven different advanced ships and are no dought planning on building at least more than one of each. I'm sure that all the combined crew and technology would probably come close to pyth's. I'm not saying its impossible, but you seem to be acting like it will hardly cost anything, and aren't giving these large plans much critisism. And lets not forget you guys are already in a financial hole from the Aurorian crisis.

OOC: The current schematics are. However, with careful and wise counsel from Spencer, their armament and capabilities can be made believable and possible. These are just design pictures he's taken from somewhere. Despite the bristling guns on them, I expect they won't be there in the real thing. Using non-real designs isn't a crime. It's when the designs are quite clearly overpowered and wanky, or genuinely completely implausible. Just because we've all used real-life tanks doesnt mean someone else can't give their own name and designate to their own tank. Oh n03s, Belka has a B-80 tank! Which runs on tracks like a Mammoth Tank! It's unrealistic!

In the conceptual state you see above, yes, the ships are BS. But he won't just rip the capabilities; in the end, they'll still be contested by whatever everyone else has. They're still gonna be ships not massively more powerful than any other of similar type. And all are still gonna flounder at the faintest whiff of aviation fuel.

Maybe Spence isn't the God you thought he was? Are you trully sure you want him telling you what to do?

On the world stage you do realise he is telling you what to do? You do see that right?

OOC: Dude, does it matter? This is a GAME. Yes, these designs might be unrealistic, but I don't imagine they'll end up being totally dominant. Just because they look a little weird means nothing. So does the idea of magnesium weaponry, but I never said a word. AU and Belka have completely impossible tech in the Arkbird, Megalith, SOLG and other Ace Combat stuff. I firmly believe these ships will, in their eventuality, be not much different than any we currently have. Just as AEGIS cruisers arent *much* better than regular ones. When you have a trimaran battleship/aircraft carrier combo which is greater than a fleet of both, you know there's something wrong. But, I believe Spencer is keeping a degree of realism, while Ali is adding a degree of individualism. Besides, these are designs. When was the last fucking time you saw a concept car make the open road?

OOC: He has a point. The majority of my and his tech is outrageous. Ali can make these, of course. However he's gonna need alot of help from Belka.

OOC: Yeah. But in the end, these won't be as outrageous as they appear at first glance :p Just as ours isn't totally. All of our tech inevitably got destroyed by a lone snub fighter in the AC games, anyway :p Still, it all makes for a good World War 3 when it happens
