Designed as a much needed improvement from the AK-74, which is regarded as one of the most reliable weapons in the world. This weapon uses 7.62mm ammo as opposed to the 5.56mm ammo used by its predecessor. Due to this it has much more stopping power, uses new ceramic materials to reinforce the build all while retaining the functionality and reliability. It comes in 2 versions: a standard version equipped much the same as the old AK, and the commando version equipped with a optic scope and a grenade launcher.
Rivana plans to completely modernise it's military with these. The first plan predicts the equipment of about 10 whole divisions with it, afterwards new orders will be made. Production of 5.56 ammo has been since lowered substantially, as the old weapon will be systematically replaced.
This is providing an opportunity for many countries who would want to equip themselves quickly and cheaply, as officials state they are ready to negotiate on a bulk sale of the old model.
