The AU is beginning research into supercavitation for use on submarines and other types of submerged weaponry, in order to increase their speed dramatically. However, mobility suffers as a result (rather it is forced to move straight), and we are looking into ways to solve this such as maneuvering fins which extend outside the bubble created by supercavitation in order to control pitch and yaw, much like an aircraft.

The research will take some time, but it will be well worth it in the future.

SMS wishes to participate. Our aviation knowledge may help, seeing as air and water are very close, property wise.

I also see the potential of the first underwater-capable fighter jet. We must also participate in this, as our airforce cannot be left in the dust.

OLD SIG
When history witnesses a great change Razgriz reveals itself,
first as a dark demon. As a demon it uses it power to rain death upon the land,
and then it dies. However after a period of slumber Razgriz returns
As the demon sleeps, man turns on man.
Its own blood, and madness soon cover the earth.
From the depths of despair awaken the Razgriz.
Its raven wings ablaze in majestic light.
Amidst the eternal waves of time
From a ripple of change shall the storm rise
Out of the abyss peer the eyes of a demon
Behold the Razgriz, its wings of black sheath
The demon soars through the dark skies
Fear and Death trail its shadow beneath
Until Men united wield a hallowed sabre
In Final Reckoning, the beast is slain.

The Atlantian Empire has had supercavitation for some time, but is interested in perhaps improving this technology (See my information thread, its in the main document), as it is currently limited to short amounts of time. However, unfortunately, it seems to be an ISAF project, and while our research and applications might be helpful to you, you're not going to be seeing any information on the technology... ever. Also, the Salmon class vessels which we have rigged for export have this technology removed completely if they were previously equipped. The technology is expensive, and we would rather it not fall into the hands of our enemies, namely the countries that tried to blockade us.

Interesting reading. I enjoyed it immensely. Supercavition, that's pretty cool tech.

Of course this is assumed. Why would anyone question otherwise? Supercavition, standard issue on Atlantian subs. Who would have thought anything other than the obvious. It's standard issue of course on AE subs. :p

I don't even recall this tech being researched by the Atlantians. but it's assumed as standard issue on all AE subs. The AE has tech that only now the AU is looking to develope. Please don't tell me you have subs than can walk on water? What would you call it? The Jesus Christ class sub?

OOC: Fine, be an asshole. Read my info paper, it was written before this RPG was even thought of. Oh wait, you didn't do that!
You're not allowed to comment if you can't read one little thing. It was already in there when I submitted it, it got accepted.

Well, it actually seems logical. The US is still developing it, but supposedly China already has it. And Russia has had it for ages with the Shkval. I never really invested in my navy other than carriers, so it is probable that Spence has some more stuff naval wise.

In the meantime I ask you please take this dispute elsewhere.

OOC: Actually, I propose that the disputes not happen at all, and that it is Crave's charge to regulate technologies. Hostile, you really have to stop blowing the whistle at every little thing that is even slightly advanced technology - this is in no way designed or intended to be a hundred percent realistic and you know it.

OOC: I think we should just go back to sticks and stones, then we will have no arguments over tech.

((OOC @ Ash: Agreed @ your first sentence. I do see what Hostile means however.))

((OOC @ Ali: I think some people would still do that. The grass is greener at your neighbours and all that. Some people like to compete with each other and see who's the best. And such.))
