It is with great pleasure that the nation of Tyranistan unveils it's first technological development, the Tyranistan 195 Carrier-Launched Fighter (Ty-195C).

This new technological marvel is the cream of the crop in Tyranistan's now great airforce. With six interchangable weapon slots, it is able to deal with any threat that is posed our great nation at swift notice. Able to load out with long range and accurate air-to-surface missile, or air-to-air missiles, accompanying it's chaingun, the fighter is easily able to support in any aspect of a battle, while also performing independent misssions. It's VSTOVL design allows easy deployment and support from an aircraft carrier.

Tyranistan has also fully finished 4 aircraft carriers, 3 of which will be able to launch 8 Ty-195Cs (OOC: Ark Royal size, according to Ash ) and 1 supercarrier able to launch 20 of the planes, with 1 more supercarrier in the middle of production (OOC: Nimitz size, apparantly). These will be the only assets to the Tyranistan navy, and therefore also carry an ASW Helicopter for submarine protection.

These will be named the following, with the prefix TKS (Tyranistan King's ship):

Three small ones:

• TKS Abdul-Malik (Servant of the King)
• TKS Nasir-al-Din (Protector of the faith)
• TKS Zafir (Victorious)

And the big one:

• TKS Al-Qadir (The Omnipotent, The Able, The Powerful - actually something to do with Allah but, oh well )

There has been a total of 80 of the Ty-195C planes developed so far, with potentially more coming. These would be enough to fit on all the carriers, with another 20 spare for when the 2nd carrier is complete. This would leave 16 planes to be posted wherever we choose, potentially the ComFIAN airbase and the main base in Nacayn, the capital of Tyranistan.

OOC: I've talked to Ash about all this, he basically helped me write this stuff and he said it should be reasonable and acceptable, just so you know . My army has no navy so I wanted my airforce to be pretty good, therefore I've got these new planes to help bolster it.

Clandonia aplauds our allies development and welcomes the stationing of fighters at the Kirkland Down airbase to improve ComFIAN security in the Exoan Ocean sector. We look forward to seeing these fighters in action.
