I posted this in another forum so if you have seen this before it was me(this was before i discovered about revora) i have got a little experience in RPing but not much so basically I'm asking for permission.
The Story
A virus has taken over the globe. It's one no-ones ever seen before, nothing like any other. No-one knows where it came from and the chances are if they do, they're dead already. This is because the virus infects amazingly fast. it is spread through bodily fluids and causes the victims to feel no pain and have immense cannabilistic tendencies. the infected have no chance of salvation, it is impossible to vaccinate against as the virus will infect with only the slightest amount. Your only chance if you become infected is to chop off whichever part you first got infected at immediately.
The Game
I have deliberately left the story ambiguous so that the game can develop at its own pace without any preconceptions that might stop the proggress of the game. if you want to play you must make a character. With my approval I will put this character in the game and you may play it. When playing i would like evryone to use proper grammar and spelling and write in the third person (he/she/it, not I)(well, as much as possible, i wont get angry if you spell things wrong, but stuff like "A disgusting sight filled *****'s vison, the body of the infected grotesque in its form as it ran towards him at terrifying speed"
"**** shooterz da zobmi wif his gun OMFG PWNEDD!IT DIES HAHHALOLOOLOZ!1111221!!!oneoneelevn!" will not be tolerated, lets try and be sensible people) basically the game works by you writing out the actions of your character and me saying what happens with them, you can say what happens with certain actions without my say-so such as-***** reached towards the gun(you don't have to see if you pick it up) but **** looks around the house, he finds a shotgun/striper/giant laser beam thingy. We shall have an OOC thread(out of character thread) and an IC thread(in character thread) Write your actions in the IC thread and talk about non game stuff in the OOC thread.

Name: No weird Japanese names if your character isn't Japanese (this game is set in the US by the way), and no names from Final Fantasy! I know Cloud is cool, but his name does tend to get used a hell of a lot!
Sex: Yes, we all no the "Yes please" joke
Hair: What colour
Eyes: What colour (Don't go for orange or purple, this game tries to go for average people in an extraordinary situation, not extraordinary people in their ordinary situation)
Height: Tall/average/small, whatever you want to say (include actual height if you wish)
Weight: fat/thin/etc., or specific if you wish
Age: Rather self explanatory
Pre-Outbreak Profession: Yes, I know zombie hunter is tempting but they really don't exist, trust me. (Preferably not too many soldiers as this would lead to a rather unbalanced game. Remember this is going to be set in a city)
Weapons: Please don't go over the top, I'm being rather trusting letting you choose your starting weapons. I would prefer them to be something impromptu like a mallet or a household gun found commonly in America, not a SAW or a bazooka etc. There will be many more chances to get weapons in the game. If possible state to us what type of gun the guns you list are, for those of us that are not enlightened. Let us know if you're low on ammo as well.
Other Items: Cigarettes, personal items, supplies, a car, etc. Please try and think that this is the start of the outbreak so no massed supplies, more like stuff grabbed in a hurry.
Clothes: Self-explanatory as well. No super suits of armor please.
Description: Please describe like a dating service, so purely on looks; ie. Stuff not covered. **** is a white female with a slight figure, her hair is stuck up at angles and looks like it hasn't been washed for weeks, much like the rest of her. I DO NOT want a description of the life of the person before the game put in public forums, i would like you to have one in your head and if possible PMed to me so i can account for it. Include tattoos, etc. here.
Background: IMPORTANT please leave this blank and only fill this in when people find out about your background (this saves people time of searching through pages of text to find one small bit of info about your character that they could easily miss)

If any of this is not understandable please leave a post in the forum and i shall try and tell you what i mean. If i have broken any conventions for this forum please tell me so i can correct my mistake. I know i am jumping in at the deep end here so please don't hesitate to help me out I require two sub-forums, OOC for character creation and general talking and IC for the game.
Everyone should be alone at the start of the game but if it is possible i would require you all to meet each other through the plot device i am going to use so you can have some character building but take a hint when i try and make you all meet up, after that i am going to take a back seat and let you free-form your way along.
My rules
Don't be an idiot, i really can't be bothered to try and work out all the ways you can be an idiot so just don't do it, then you'll be fine and i wont get angry. If you happen to have a relationship IC can we try and tone down any explicitness. I don't mind the odd swearword, but a full blown description i don't want. Try some suggestive comments and leave what exactly happens to the readers imagination.
Topics
I want all IC actual RPing in one thread (I wont worry about separate threads as all characters should be together at most points) In the IC section I want everyone to also make a "chat" topic for their character. This is for in character discussion with the character that is not actually pertinent to the RP just idle chit chat (finding out about each other, gossiping, bitching getting friendly,
This is because conversations are not as easily done in forums than in real life so this is a substitute (not like all this chatting is happening at once, rather an ongoing conversation over time.) any chatting that is pertinent to more than one character
