Pythogrian Capital

A sighting of Rivanan tanks entering the capital is filmed by tv crews, as premier Mrezov in Rivana announces the complete disband of the Pythogrian regime. The city was taken without literally any casualties, as most of the Pythogrians gave up the fight after recognising the force as Rivanan, not Belkan.

Officially the entire country was under Rivanan and Atlantian control for a few hours now, after the Rivanan government officially denounced the remains of the Pythogrian government and recognised Atlantian control of the southern portion of the country, as per the original plan.

The capital of Pythogria itself was to be under joint Rivanan and Atlantian jurisdiction, though the city was to adhere to Atlantian economic and civil plans - at their own discretion. The Rivanans were allowed access to the former Pythogrian governmental resources, including their nuclear development and materials - as well as other research plans. Both countries will keep their garrisons inside the capital. Both will defend it less it should fall under aggression. A strict cooperation in the reusage of Pythogrian resources is planned.

A speech from premier Viacheslav Mrezov regarding the occasion:

As of this day, 6:30 pm, the traitorous Pythogrian government is no more. The last representatives the false leaders of that once glorious country have been captured, arrested and await trial at the hands of the Pythogrian people, who have suffered the most under Ferel's cabinet' corrupt rule. An Atlantian judge and one of our own will be in charge of the trial. Hopefully it will bring justice to the Pythogrian lands, as the prime perpetrators of fascism in the north will be tried for their crimes against humanity.

And I can assure you here, and now: These criminals will not leave the trial room without a sentence. Not without one they completely deserve!

Stekronia sincerely hopes that the maps diplayed are out of date. Otherwise, we will be taking military action to flush the southern troops which are occupying a good sized portion of OUR country out.

That is not your country. We do not recognize your illegal annexation of Pythogria, whatever that was which we were not informed of. Those are occupied lands under the terms of the joint annexation of Pythogria.

OOC: When did you annex that stuff? If you did... it's kind of ours whatever hold you think you have on it. We annexed the bastards...

OOC: Na, it was a bona-fide purchase. Check the link I gave, it was to help Pyth out of a slump. I don't mind the annexation of the rest, but I paid a buttload for that land.

I think I remember reading that at one point, never knew it went through.
We might want to keep a stickied log of transactions and diplomatic agreements for later reference.
