With the running out of a term for the Premier, and the death of the entire Parliament, the elections for new instances of both are occuring today. The current premier won't be able to run, as his 3-term limit has expired.
The candidates' Parties, and brief descriptions-
Conservative- Will not pull for massive changes, and disagrees with abortion and genetic 'tampering'.
Neo-Lib- More conservative than liberal, but will pull for select large changes in the government. For abortion, against genetic engineering.
Liberal- FOr massive changes in the government, including a beeefed-up welfare system and state-run financial facilities.
Environmental- Wants to free all people, disestablish the government, and let citizens frolich naked through the countryside along side the deer and bunnies. Doesn't like bathing.
Totalitarian- Wants to crush all opposition like an insect beneath his fist. Isn't for anything that doesn't promote him and opress the people.
Socialist- The stuff that all socialists are for.

(OOC- One thing I forgot to mention)
While we have no problem with quietly hoping for a candidate(s) to win, there will be no monetary endorsement whatsoever, for ANY party.

The results are in!
The new premier is Conservative candidate Gerhard Kasich!
The parliament has turned out as (out of 100 spaces)-
Conservative- 52
Neo-Lib- 34
Liberal- 10
Environmental- 3
Totalitarian- 0
Socialist- 1
This marks history, as there has finally been enough votes for a socialist to be elected! However, the conservatives win as usual, but the Neo-Liberals have gained some ground. These numbers will shape the face of CMS for both the near and distant future.
