((OOC: Just because I felt I had to post something.))
The Queen lay on her bed reading the newspaper. She heard someone knocking on the door. "Come in", she said. Slowly the door opened and one of the servants came in. "Would you like some tea, your Majesty?" the guy asked. "Yes, please." the Queen answered. "Very well", the servant said and went to get some tea. The Queen looked at the newspaper again. She knew that the news she was reading may not be truthful 100%, however she kept reading. Quite a bit going around in the world, she thought by herself. After a minute the servant returned, carrying a tray with some tea on it. He gave it to the Queen, said "Enjoy" and disappeared again. The Queen sipped her tea and closed her eyes for a moment. She opened them again and put the cup away. She sat straight, crossed her legs and closed her eyes. She tried to empty her mind, getting rid of the many thoughts, caused by reading the newspaper. Things kept coming up but she pushed them to the back of her mind, trying to blank out all the thoughts. She concentrated on a candlelight, something which usually helped her. After some moments she felt her thoughts fading, thinking only of the candles' flame. Sitting there for about 15 minutes she felt really rested and refreshed. She opened her eyes again and drank the rest of her tea. She put the cup away and got up. After a short sigh she locked her door and started to undress herself. She felt it was a bit warm in the room so she decided to wear her light-soft satin night-gown. She brushed her teeth and lay down under the bed sheets. She turned off the lights and closed her eyes, fading off to dreamland.
Something on my mind
