The country is a nation of peasants. Except Lebada (the capital) the country is unindustrialised with manors and boyars ruling over the uneducated masses. Only recently was the concept of a standing army introduced, and a clumsily controlled army force was drafted for service. It is relatively unstable due to the clumsy tzar and it is obvious foreign influences will be tearing it apart soon enough.
