It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.
Following the final drop off of the Booming '10s and the successful '20s, the world was enveloped in worldwide "poverty", as the once supercharged economies finally began to normalize. Now, economically hurting nations take their first steps towards rearmament following the capitalist paradise era where standing armies were pratically disbanded, reduced to little more than pawns for "peacekeeping" to suppress the revolutionaries. The year is 1930, and already nationalist fervors in the former belligerents of the 1902-1908 First Colonial War have begun to flare up.

Socialism has already overtaken the nation of Kocourkov, and threatens all governments, autocratic and democratic, who continue to cling to the capitalist state. The Union of Communist Organizations has, on numerous occasions, encouraged the workers to rise up, resulting in heightened militarism which has come to arms on numerous occasions.

On Enadia, a zealous Pythogrian Empire and the Royal Monarchy of Yuktobania continue to keep a tight leash, albeit a loosening one on the Society of British and German Farmers, a group of fragmented city states fighting for unity and freedom from imperial rule. Their plight grows ever stronger, in keeping with cries for independence, as resentment continues to affect the entire populace. Their cries may not go unheeded internationally forever.

In the North, the Tsardom of Rivana struggles to keep control over a nation of peasantry with a brutal, centralized government under the autocratic and judicially arbitrary tsar. Fearing a brush with foreign influences, they remain rather isolated, but perhaps this will change as the world opens up once again.

Towards the west, the United Kingdom of Propylos is besieged by a possible revolution. Dissatisfied with the monarchy, the country is torn between a constitutionalist majority, and a socialist minority, but the margin is thin and civil war threatens the country's once prosperous monarchy. Only time will tell what happens and who will prevail.

On Soladia, the four nations of Belka have signed a truce, but continue their bitter multidimensional rivalry. Exhibiting all sorts of ideologies, they are threatened with self-destruction if they keep going at such a horribly deadly pace.
To the west, the Atlantian Empire struggles with political fights and a crisis of leadership. The Populists, who for so long maintained a majority, have quickly become a dying breed, while the conservatives in the government are only interested in making money. Only time will tell what develops out of this climate of extortion and rapidly changing ideals.

In the south, the Casmirian tribes continue to live out their authoritarian ways, with warlords and a brutal justice system. Rich in oil, but still not knowing the full value of the liquid treasure they sit upon, the Tribes face a difficult road ahead as vehicles become more prevalent and politicians begin looking towards the coffers. Perhaps they will remain in full control over their cultural identity and their own sovereignty, but the dangers of corporatism and imperialism loom ahead. Only strong will and dogged resistance will win the fight.

In the east, the Clandonian nation, after a short war with Kocourkov, stands ready to make another grab at some land in their historical sphere of influence. Only time will tell as to where they will go from their failed venture in the south, but perhaps they plan on continuing their war.

North of them, the Provinces of Tyran, a beautiful land unspoiled by the claws of industry, prospers in relative silence. Although they have clung to their identity as a peaceful people for so long, the pain of corporate exploitation looms around the corner, ready to take advantage of anyone who seeks more power. A delicate balance between industrialism and environmental and societal preservation is a must, and perhaps it can work in a state which could very well be the dream for all industrialized nations to aspire to.

In Gaiania, the dictatorial queen continues her violent rampage of murderous annexations of Reichoslovakian territory and arbitrary executions of multinational revolutionaries. There has even been talk of using acids to burn off the faces of her victims, but no evidence supporting this has been unearthed. :thumbsupsmiley:

To the Queen's east is the nation of Reichoslovakia, a dictatorship under the strict and fanatical command of the intolerant and nationalist Albert Hiller. With territorial issues in place, it appears the former muppet of the fallen Kocourkovi regime could be in jeapordy, but it is certain that they will go down violently.

The world stands poised for a great change, so great that no final sentence can sum up the above.

Yes, I just wanted to set the stage for some nations which I knew a thing or two about. Now I want to finalize the land doctrine chart, but RPing can start immediately.
