Certain heroes are obvious, of course, but which heroes are your favorite? How should they behave in game? What abilities should they possess?

Obi Wan:
Ok. Well I really want to see Obi Wan. Im tired of games were Obi-Wan has powers like Jedi Mind Trick. But unfortunately it seems like the only fitting power and it is hard to think of a new one. Also do you tihnk he can ride on his little friendly lizard thingy?

Darth Maul:
Hes totally a Leet pwnZor who be owning noobs. He should be extra strong when fighting 2 jedis at once. also is it possible to fight 2 jedi's at once? and how will the jedi battles be? just wacking each other with glow sticks? He should also be able to kick jedi's or mabey other units and knock them down with a pwnage kick to make them lose a few hits to him and make him gain some hits on them.

General Grievous:
hes a cool character. he got his 30 minutes in episode 3. And became Uber Popular. hes got 4 lightsabers and 4 arms and alot of pwnageness. It would be cool if he could ride his car thing.

Yoda:
He is our really cool little green friend. he is basically the strongest of all Jedi not including Darth Maul. he should be able to send force lightning back on people when they hit him with it.

Emporer Palpatine:
FORCE LIGHTNING!


Count Dooku:
Probably the strongest of the sith not including darth maul. He Taught General Grievous. He owned both anakin and obi at once. He is strong in the force and sometimes seems to make people weaker.

Chewbacca:
Im not sure if you guys are including him. He is a cool wookie and should be able to make head shots to hurt heros badly.

Jango Fett:
he has a jet pack and double blasters. Can he have it on for awhile and float around with it? unlike Zone troopers. It can make him hard to hit ect.

Jar Jar:
I don't know alot you can do with Jar Jar. he can have a slingshot and shoot blue balls?

Aayla Secura:
She has 2 Lightsabers and isn't as good against heros but good against machines.


Plo Koon:
should be strong against infintry.

Pippin son of Pwnage:
He is the hero of all hero's. He be owning noobs with leet haxes. He wields a pwnage sword and a AK-47. He has the holy hand grenade and can destroy bases with it. He be amazing!

I believe we have all of those heroes in our unit lists expect for Jar Jar and Pippin...Maul isn't in the clone wars but we still might include him. Might be too awesome to leave out.

As for progress on those guys, we have some pretty impressive stuff being worked on right now, and one of the people being worked on is in the list you posted.

We had Pippin\'s dad in there for a while, but he kept getting owned and Grievous was sick of having to pick hobbit entrails out of his talons, so we cut him.

Back on Topic. How are jedi vs. jedi going to work out? I've seen it on alot of games and it is just messed up. Empire at War made it look like a actual duel instead of a wack-a-thon but it wasn't a existing duel and it seemed to only focus on there health and strength about who wins. No lucky moves could happen or anything.

Oh and another thing

You guys gotta have Qui-Gon and Darth Maul!

although i love qui gon (hes my favorite Jedi, along with Quinlan Vos) i doubt theres much room for him in the timeframe of this mod.
Im not sure 'lucky hits' would be possible to implement into the game to be honest, imagine if your best hero was leading and attack and you were winning the game only to have him be taken down by a lucky hit and your army slaughterd

I didn't say u could kill a man with a lucky hit. i just said you could hit higher then usual. And against stronger jedi's a lucky hit is far more unlikely. Besides turning the tables of the game is what is fun about a game. Image being owned and turning the tables with a lucky hit on there jedi. Seriously the guy who was winning can suck it up. someone is going to loose and you should never ever be guaranteed a win. its not over until its over.

C&C3 isn't designed for melee combat, I highly doubt anything remotely like what you are saying is possible.

It's always going to be Unit A hits Unit B, the best you can do is give the Jedi's good animations and very short ranges.

Daz is right, though we can do a number of things to make it look alot better. First of all, we can decrease the attack ranged like Daz said, eliminating the fake hitting from 10 feet away. Second, we can have 0 delay between attacks, so Jedi don't swipe then stand still and wait, then swipe....it would be more like a continuos combination of moves, each flowing together with another random one, more like real fights.

Also, we can give units a weapon that will only be used against a certain class (e.g. BUILDING, TANK) and my hope is that we can find an unused class and use it for the Jedi so they attack a special way when attacking other Jedi.

Well i agree with master windu....However it might be possible to add a hit and miss for infantry AND jedi's like medieval 2 total war. and the fast attacks is a great thing to add to like 0 second cooldown.

That's probably possible. Might require some extra animations or it could be confusing if he misses with one attack anim and then hits with the exact same attack anim.
But good idea overall.

Anyways back on topic. Ummm Obi wan should be able to ride his thingy thing. Yoda should be able to ride his thingy thingy. Anakin should be able to ride a tatoine animal. Maybe chewy can fly in that one thing.

and Mace Windu should be cool.

ok, Im pritty sure Anakin wont be riding a tatooine animal and im not sure obi wan will be riding that bird lizard creature either, on a count of Jedis riding wierd creatures A: overpowering and B: visually wierd
Im not sure about Yoda's hovering seat though. Imo i think he should just walk everywhere, with the exception of running in combat.
Mace windu is always cool.

Ki-Adi-Mundi. I have no idea on his powers though and is Anikin in it?

Zam Wesell, Bounty Hunter.
With remote demolition equipment, Sniper Rifle, Camouflage and Impersonation powers
(you know the 'DISGUISE_AS_VEHICLE' power, only not for vehicles, hehe).

Zam Wesell is most certainly an interesting idea. We don't have her planned to be in the mod, not sure if she is important enough, but she sure would be cool to have.

The CIS strength is in numbers, they are limited in the number of heroes but their heroes are powerful.

And we do have Ki-Adi-Mundi and Anakin in, yes.

I'd like to see IG-88 and/or Bossk. Bounty hunters are a great addition.
