Well since I'm nice i've decided to go ahead and post one tech tree for you all. Enjoy (this is all zimoos work)

Heroes

Melkor

Build Cost: 12000 + Silmaril
Description: Melkor is the mightiest being who dwells in Arda. Although he is not as strong as Tulkas, he has a good variety of power. His melee attack is devastating to clumped units, but heroes are slightly more resistant to it. You need the silmaril in your possession to build Melkor. BTW, depending on how easy it is to code, I wish to make it so that his name appears as Morgoth (not Melkor) for enemies.

Abilities:

* Lord of Middle-Earth - Level 1 - Melkor grants huge leadership to all non-hero units
* Fires of Angband - Level 2 - Powerful fire attack with a large range
* Destroyer of the Two Trees - Level 4 - Powerful melee attack that instantly kills any building
* Mutator Of Orcs - Level 6 - Grants several experience levels to all orcs in a large radius
* Scream - Level 8 - Scares all enemies, including heroes
* Mockery Of Eagles - Level 9 - Summons several winged dragons

Gothmog

Build Cost: 5000
Description: Gothmog is the chieftain of the Balrogs, and High Captain of Angband. He is a capable fighter, but is best used to increase the fighting ability of nearby units. When built he comes with a guard of a few trolls.

Abilities:

* Lord of Balrogs - Level 1 - Nearby Balrogs get increased stats
* Fire Breath - Level 4 - Breathes a devastating fire over target area
* High Captain of Angband - Level 6 - Grants leadership to all units (except monsters)
* Slayer of Feanor - Level 8 - Gets passive damage increase against heroes
* Spirits Of Fire - Level 10 - Summons 3 Balrogs to his aid

Ancalagon

Build Cost: 5000
Description: Ancalagon The Black is the mightiest dragon ever to exist, and very nearly brought ruin to the Host of the Valar during the War of Wrath. He will have a very strong armour, but will be very vulnerable to other flying creatures (mainly Earendil).

Abilities:

* Fireball - Level 3 - Hurls a deadly ball of fire at enemies
* Greatest of Dragons - Level 4 - Leadership to winged dragons
* Wing Blast - Level 7 - Deadly attack that damages enemies below him
* Incinerate - Level 10 - Delivers heavy fire damage to enemies

NOTE: I know his abilities aren't unique, so if you have any suggestions please post them.

Carcharoth

Build Cost: 3000
Description: Carcharoth is the mightiest wolf ever to inhabit Arda. He was fed by the hand of Melkor himself. He has a very high damage rating, but is vulnerable to heroes (particularily magic-using heroes).

Abilities:

* Fell Bite - Level 2 - Devastating melee attack that poisons target enemy
* Rage of the Silmaril - Level 5 - Carcharoth gets passive stat boosts
* Mightiest Wolf - Level 7 - Carcharoth leads the wolves of Angband into battle, giving them greatly increased stats

Orcobal

Build Cost: 1200
Description: Orcobal is the orcs greatest chieftain. Although not weak by any stretch of the imagination, he can not stand up against most other heroes. He is best used in conjuction with large armies of orcs.

Abilities:

* Orc Chieftain - Level 1 - Grants small amounts of leadership to nearby orcs
* Orc Slash - Level 3 - A powerful melee attack
* Words of Melkor - Level 6 - Speaks the fell words of Melkor, granting experience to orcs
* Call the Horde - Level 8 - All orc units temporarily get greatly increased build times

Sauron

Build Cost: 4500
Description: Sauron is the greatest of the Maiar. He should be used more as a support hero though, driving forth his armies in fear before him, while he hangs back until the last. He can "mount". Building Sauron unlocks the Tol-in-Gaurhoth mini-faction.

Abilities:

* Spirit Of Fire - Level 1 - Any enemy who attacks him receives a bit of fire damage
* Fireball - Rank 2 - Shoots a great fireball at enemy
* Toggle Form - Level 4 - Toggles between werewolf and normal Sauron
* Lord Of Werewolves - Rank 6 - Grants bonuses to nearby werewolves
* Annatar, Lord Of Gifts - Rank 7 - Allows Sauron to corrupt enemies to fight for him
* Sorcery Of Sauron - Rank 10 - A huge fire attack with roughly the same radius as WOP

Glaurung

Build Cost: 5500
Description: Glaurung is the father of dragons. He is an incredibly powerful melee hero, who can take down large armies with ease. He is very weak against heroes though. Building Glaurung unlocks the Dragon mini-faction.

* Dragon Spell - Level 7 - Cripples target hero

Ulfang

Description: Ulfang will be another of Angband's support heroes. He will be fairly weak on his own, although very useful at leading armies (particularily Easterlings). He has good damage but weak armour. Building Ulfang unlocks the Easterling mini-faction.

Abilities:

* Chieftain of the Easterlings - Level 1 - Leadership to nearby Easterling units

Very truthful to the book, well done. There are quite a lot of expensive heroes, though.

Thats part of how Angband is played, it is meant to have few strong forces until later in the game.

lol,

the banner is the Germanic banner from rome total war

for the dragon:
there is a power of Isengard... think it was Dragon rage or something. Why not use it for your dragon?
If the above post offended you in any way,
please take note that, until further notice, I don't care, so get lost.

Sshh!

I'm slightly against them copying them over word for word, as you see all my cheesy little comments and 10-second picture searches ;)
