Heroes

Hurin

Build Cost: 3000
Description: Hurin is the most skilled warrior ever among the Edain, and as such you better keep out of his way if you are an enemy to him .

Abilities:
Lord of Dor-Lomin - Level 1 - Leadership to nearby Dor-Lomin units
Valour of the Atani - Level 1 - If Hurin loses all his health he keeps fighting for a while
Mightiest Warrior of the Edain - Level 4 - Temporarily gets huge armour and damage boosts
Trollslayer - Level 6 - Wields a two-handed axe instead of sword/shield, and gets a passive damage increase against trolls. Also shouts "Aure entuluva" everytime he takes down a troll
Last Stand of the Men of Dor-Lomin - Level 8 - Hurin and all nearby Dor-Lomin swordsmen get huge armour and damage boosts, but can't move for a minute (very useful for holding key locations)
Turin

Build Cost: 3500
Description: While not as skilled as his father in war, Turin is a "Master of Doom", and as such can be useful for other reasons.

Abilities:
Master Of Doom - Level 1 - Turin has a very high dodge chance against enemy arrows
Weapon Toggle - Level 1 - Switches between bow and spear
Gurthang - Level 6 - Turin wields the black sword Gurthang, passive damage increase against all (mainly dragons)
Dragon-Helm - Level 8 - Makes Turin near-immune to fire and magic damage, gives him a fear aura
Note: We could do with more abilities for Turin but that's all I could think of

Tuor

Build Cost: 2400
Description: Tuor is a very skilled fighter, but his abilities are more based around defence.

Abilities:
Teachings Of Gondolin - Level 1 - Tuor gives nearby resource buildings an increase to amount of resources generated
Wrath of Tuor - Level 2 - Temporarily gets huge damage increase, although loses armour during this time
Armour Of Nevrast - Level 4 - Tuor changes from an archer to a swordsman clad in strong mail
Messenger of Ulmo - Level 6 - Ulmo puts words into Tuors mouth, which grant experience to nearby units
Dramborleg - Level 8 - Tuor switches weapons (again ) and wields a great axe, passive damage boost to monsters
Nienor

Build Cost: 1200
Description: Nienor is a very unique hero, in that she can't attack enemies.

Abilities:

Mount - Level1 - Nienor mounts
Arousing Pity - Level 1 - The tears of Nienor arouse pity in the hearts of her foes, thus giving them small nerfs
Spurt of Madness - Level 2 - Nienor temporarily gets +100% speed
Disguise - Level 4 - Disguises herself as an enemy
Niniel - Level 7 - Washes away wounds with her tears (heal)

Earendil

Build Cost: 4500
Description: Earendil is the silmaril hero for the Edain. He is very versatile, in that he can soar around the skies in Vingilot, as well as wielding weapons skilfully on foot.

Abilities:
Weapon Toggle - Level 1 - Switches between bow and sword
Vingilot - Level 3 - Places Earendil on a ship that has the power to soar through the skies, gives insane leadership when flying in it (on this note, any ideas on if the ship will be able to atack, and how?)
Star in the Darkness - Level 6 - The light of the silmaril blazes forth, giving a similar effect to Cloudbreak (except less lag ). Only usable in Vingilot
Need more suggestions for him

Barahir

Build Cost: 2000
Description: Barahir is a spear-wielding hero whose loyality is unquestioned. He led his men in a valiant charge to save the life of Finrod, which eventually led to the valar wtfpwning Morgoth . Building him unlocks the Beor faction.

Abilities:
Lord of the House of Beor - Level 1 - Leadership to Beor units
Heroic Charge (needs better name) - Level 3 - Barahir and all nearby Beor units temporarily gets a huge damage boost, but lose armour
Love for the House of Finarfin (needs better name) - Summons several units (and maybe heroes) from Finarfins house
Beren

Build Cost: 2500
Description: Beren is a hero who should need no introduction. He will be a stealthy hero, who like Turin will have a high chance of dodging arrows.

Abilities:

[*]Woodcraft - Level 1 - Allows Beren to be permanently stealthed in woods, except for when attacking
[*]Defended by Fate - Level 1 - Beren has a very high chance of dodging enemy missiles
[*]Lone Soldier - Level 3 - Gets temporary large boosts, also has passive fear against orcs
[*]Friend of Birds - Level 5 - Summons a flock of birds who are very good for scouting
[*]Mount - Level 5 - Mounts Beren on a great horse

Could do with more (or better) ideas for him

Haleth

Build Cost: 1400
Description: Haleth is a valiant fighter, a proud and noble woman of the Haladin. She wields an axe/shield in battle (just for a little variety ). Building Haleth unlocks the Haladin faction.

Abilities:
Chief of the Haladin - Level 1- Leadership to nearby Haladin units
Last Defence - Level 3 - Nearby walls and gates get a huge armour boost temporarily
Skill of the Haladin - Level 5 - Allows nearby allies to become temporarily stealthed, even when attacking
Twin Chieftains - Level 7 - Summons Haldar, stays until he dies, can't be respawned
Fingon

Build Cost: 3500
Description: Fingon will be the most versatile hero in this mod. He will weild sword and bow with great skill, both on foot and on horseback.

Abilities:
Son of Fingolfin - Level 1 - Leadership to Noldor units
Weapon Toggle - Level 1 - Allows Fingon to toggle between sword and bow
Mount - Level 1 - Mounts Fingon on a great steed
Fingon The Valiant - Level 3 - Temporarily gives Fingon huge boosts (onlu usable when unmounted with sword)
Dart of the Noldoli - Level 5 - Powerful arrow attack only usable from horseback, does great damage and causes dragons to flee (including dragon heroes)
Might Of Fingon - Level 9 - Stuns all nearby enemy heroes for 30 seconds (obviously doesn't effect people like Morgoth)
Buildings

Mill

Build Cost: 300
Description: Basic resource building for Noldor

Dor-Lomin Hall

Build Cost: 300
Description: Trains Dor-Lomin units.

Trains:
Level 1 - Hurin's Swordsmen - Cost 300 - Decent infantry unit with good defense
Level 1 - Spearmen (needs better name) - Cost 400 - Anti cavalry-unit
Level 2 - Hunters of Dor-Lomin - Cost 500 - Archer unit, good attack rate but low damage
Level 2 - Riders of Dor-Lomin - Cost 600 - Light cavalry unit, best used for harrassing and flanking, spear-wielding
Level 3 - Knights of the Royal House - Cost 800 - Heavy cavalry unit suited more to open battlesm wield swords and have high melee damage
Dorthonion Tent

Build Cost: 500
Description: Trains the Dorthonion units, who provide the Edain with aggressive infantry, as well as battering rams. Requires Dorthonion mini-faction.

Trains:
Level 1 - Barahirs Spearmen - Cost 400 - High damage spearmen unit, good damage vs cavalry but don't deal much crush revenge
Level 2 - Battering Ram - Cost 500 - A great tree carried by strong men, it can take down normal buildings easily, but won't do so well against walls/gates
Level 3 - Outlaw of Dorthonion - Cost 800 - Single powerful unit who can switch between bow and sword, named after Barahirs companions
Haladin Hut

Build Cost: 300
Description: Trains the stealthy Haladin. Requires Haladin mini-faction.

Trains:
Level 1 - Haladin Axemen - Cost 300 - Stealthy axe-wielding unit, lightly armoured
Level 2 - Woodsmen of Brethil - Cost 400 - Skilled archers with high damage, although weak armour and poor range
Noldor Barracks

Build Cost: 800
Description: Trains the mighty Noldor of Hithlum. Requires Hithlum mini-faction.

Trains:
Level 1 - Noldor Swordsmen - Cost 500 - Skilled sword wielding unit
Level 2 - Catapults - Cost 800 - Ranged siege unit
Level 3 - Fingons Warriors - Cost 700 - Horse archer unit, very good damage vs monsters
The Well Of Kings

Build Cost: 200
Description: Heals nearby units and heroes, reduces cost of infantry

Statue Of Fingolfin

Build Cost: 250
Description: Gives leadership to nearby units, better leadership to Dor-Lomin units

Royal Armoury

Build Cost: 1000
Description: Researches upgrades

Upgrades:
Level 1 - Chieftains of the Edain - Cost 600 - Improved banner carrier unit, many variations
Level 2 - Forged Blades (needs better name) - Cost 800 - Grants improved damage to melee hordes
Level 3 - Upgraded Arrows (definatly needs better name ) - Cost 1200 - Grants improved damage to archers
Level 3 - Chain Mail - Cost 1000 - Upgraded hordes take less damage from attacks
Dock

Build Cost: N/A
Description: Builds Ships, although very limited options

Trains:
Transport Ship - Cost 200 - Can transport up to 3 hordes across water
BattleShip - Cost 700 - Basic battleship for protecting transports
Battle Tower

Build Cost: 400
Description: A strong tower manned by skilled archers

Upgrades:
Upgraded Arrows - Cost 500 - Grants improved damage
Stockade

Build Cost: 100
Description: Wall hub for Noldor, made of weak wood

Upgrades:
Wall Segment - Cost 50 - Extends the wall
Gate - Cost 300 - Builds a gate that can be opened/close
Postern Gate - Cost 700 - Builds a stealthed gate that allies can pass through
Battle Tower - Cost 500 - Builds a defensive tower that fires arrows at nearby enemies
Fortress

Build Cost: 5000
Description: Trains builders, heroes and builds fortress upgrades

Trains:
Builder - Cost 500 - Builds buildings, puts out fires
Upgrades:

Need ideas for fortress upgrades

Inn

Build Cost: N/A
Description: Trains units from nearby allied peoples, units can't be upgraded

Trains:
Nargothrond Scouts - Cost 400 - Stealthy archer unit with good damage
Falathrim Raiders - Cost 400 - Light cavalry unit. Very weak at attacking, although they get huge bonuses when flanking or attacking buildings
Horse Archers - Cost 800 - Elite horse archer, fast, high damage, low armour
Other Stuff

Defense Foundations:

That's actually Earendil's emblem, but it sort of represents the Edain as a whole

Heal - 5PP - Heals selected units 80% of their health
Rebuild - 5PP - Repairs selected buildings
Ring Of Barahir - 5PP - Grants Beren an armor boost, allows him to summon Finrod

Tier 2

Favour of Manwe - 10PP - Summons a lone eagle to your aid
Teachings Of The Noldoli - 10PP - Selected resource building gets 150% productivity
Kin from the East - 10PP - Summons three battalions of Easterlings, who are neutral and will attack anyone who comes close to them (if possible make it so they're slightly less aggressive towards Edain)
Arrows of the Wood Elves - 10PP - Arrow volley

Tier 3

Coming of the Sun - 15PP - The sun rises, stunning all enemies
Gift Of Men - 15pp - The Edain fight more fiercely, giving them large damage bonuses but also reducing their armour. Passive ability

Tier 4

Host of the Valar - 30PP - Summons the Valar army

For the Tier 3 power, you could have something like "The Three Houses," and summon Men from all three houses of the Edain (Haleth, Beor, Hador). Or, it could be a buff to all units from the houses.

For Tier 4, something about Ulmo would be a good idea, since he aided Men many times throughout the First Age. A giant wave of some sort, or a great sea wind. Be hard to FX, though.

I think we/I decided against him purely because he wouldn't be much different to the current (and more important imo) heroes.

the noldor and fingon should be with the eldar not the edain
Egalmoth wore a blue mantle upon which the stars were broidered in crystal.
The leader of the House of the Heavenly Arch.
Alone of all the Noldor, he used a curved sword.

The people of the Heavenly Arch was arrayed in many colours and their arms were set with with jewels and their shields was blue as the sky.Egalmoth got out of the burning Gondolin and came to the Mouth of Sirion
