ok, well thoses of you in the story development thread know what this is about.
So, is MU a NEWTYPE or is it just spatial awarness, mabye even something else, and what about Cresuet?

Spatial awareness seems to be newtype ability. They never come out and say it but its a clear connection to the old newtype idea in the UC universe.

And cruset is very clearly a newtype/spatial awareness/whatever. More than Mu in fact.

To throw in another, proably kira. If his dad was able to isolate the gene for newtype/spatial awareness, he definitely would have implanted it in kira, which might explain newtype flashes he gets in destiny. Not to mention, his combat ability rivals newtypes.

I agree with you on Cresuet being alot like Mu, the main differences are the health isuses he has. and the fact that he wants to wipe out all humanity.lol.

I think both Mu and Cresuet show alot of NewType abilitys. You could say its a coincedence that They both know when the others there, but that was also the case with Amuro and Char in mobilesuit Gundam.Theres also alot of other factors as well. Both are extreamly talented pilot and not only have they shown these new type senses around each other but also when fighting other opponent such as Cresuet vs. Kira.

I think we already established this in another topic but Mu and anyone else sharing his genetic traits are Newtypes, and that Kira, being an ultimate Coordinator, is an artificial Newtype, shown when he used the Strike Freedom's dragoons.


however, this is not backwards arguable, since just having SEED traits does not make you a newtype, or was ti the other way around? This is a bit weird when you consider all the facts.

I believe it was neither. Having SEED does not make you a newtype, nor does being a newtype means you have SEED attributes. In fact the only one who has both is Kira. There are only five SEED users that we know of afterall.

I like to think of both as advanced or accelerated evolution traits. The next step in human evolution...or two. Lucky kira...he's got both...

Btw did we ever have a topic on Lacus's SEED factor? its pretty obvious she has it now, but what the heck does it do...i only vaguely remember talking about it.

If this was duscussed in another topic, then I apologize. Either way it still seems that this hasnt been solved anyway. We already know that Kira has SEED, and Mu and Cresuet show NEWTYPE abilitys. Still, I dont see how some people can say its just spatial awarness. "Yes, Im goin to be able to sense you out there and aviod your attacks at an alarming rate, oh and by the way it's just spatial awarnes." I dont see how that could be.

Simple answer. Spatial awareness is SEED's Newtype ability.

gundam seed is so confusing, they have coordinator in the begging, n now we r talking bout newtype, i cant even explain wat newtype is to my chinese friend in chinese
