new types of infected...

do we want to come up with some new types? so far we have the shamblers, sprinters, and the big guy.
i was thinking, it might be fun to maybe start introducing some other new ones
one idea i had was that we could have infected animals
things like dogs, or birds, or other animals
on the map i made, there was a bush reserve, if we decide to go through there or something, maybe we could run into something like an infected bear, that might be cool
also, maybe later on we can run into new types of infected people, maybe ones that are smarter(so they use weapons, etc. instead of just having to fight off hoards of infected, maybe we can have these smart ones, hunting us(lol, we could call them hunters)
well, what do we think? do you like that idea, or not(wow, I'm sure asking about a lot of idea's of mine, first the expendable npc's, now this )

I prefer would prefer the infected to stay just the same.
I wasn't too happy with the huge mother fuckers, but its not my RP, so there you go.
But infected animals? Labs creating monsters? If we start down this route we will end up being just like the teeming masses of Resident evil RPs out there!
If nothing else, making it too complicated makes it harder for newcomers to join and understand.

Yeah, I'm with the Nay's on this one. I personally enjoy the image huge hordes of shambling morons who really only use up space and ammo.
Although, the idea of infected large animals is quite plausible - for example, a stray bear finds a dead human, and eats it ('cos all the park ranger's are dead so it hasn't been fed for a while). Unfortunately, the human was killed by zombies, so the virus is now in the bear. So it becomes a zombie bear.
Nevertheless, I think it would be best to generally steer clear of that sorta thing except in special circumstances. Like Alpha. He's special

well, i was thinking that later on when we go to the lab thing where alpha is, we could run its infected security hounds(i imagine the lab, with the scientist guy, and all the infected acting almost as slaves)
also, since i had the reserve in my map, i came up with the bear idea, i mean it makes sense that animals would get infected too, or turn feral, as there are no humans left to feed them.
and the other new types(the smart ones) i though would make it more challenging, as right now we just shoot bullets into the stupid infected shamblers, and kill them easy(or get away)
so smart ones will be harder, as we would have to out smart them to get away, instead of just walking away shooting(and since they are smarter, they could use weapons)
its kinda already that way, with the sprinters and shamblers, and the virus turning them into zed's, also, most are like that cause resident evil took all the cool zombie idea's already(well most of them), but i dont think we should have silly things like infected bugs, and infected bug people, or infected plants.
but come on, if we just leave it as the same infected forever it will get boring
i don't mean we introduce a whole heap all at once
