Ok, what's this all about?, I get that's there is an evil organization, if that's what you'll call it, that is threatening the milky way


but what i don't get is the whole faction thing, is it instead of making up a character like other RPG's, you make up a faction?

also, any other information would be great(anything i need to know)

as well as a short list of all the already made factions and their tech would be helpful(I would want to steal someone else idea's)
but i dont mean type up the whole thing everyone has already said, i mean like:

name-
description-(are they human?, squid men? bug men?, etc)
tech-
location-

Well, to explain it, yes you controll a faction. That's a faction, all of it's ships, people, personell, weapons, etc. Yep, you need a name, you need to list their tech level, ships classes, weapons, etc. Location is in one of the quadrants, like alpha, beta, gamma, or delta. As for the rest, it'll have to wait, sleep comes first.
