ok, now a less professional description, to give you an idea of what some of the races actually look like

the Guidesmen look sort of like the thing here:

except without the sharp teeth, and with 2 sets of eyes on each side instead of one, also they have more fish like lips


the Rakians look sort of like the jawa, from star wars:

except cross that with a dwarf, as Rakians are much more stocky, and instead of wearing robes, they have bandge cloths, and then different robes over the top.


the Kaltesians look like tall elves, so very hansom/beautiful, with long hair, and with slightly pointed ears...

and finally the Baragans look basically like wookies, except slightly different
most have white fur and they look less animal like then wookies in star wars

the bad guys;

well, the Trassgression races are like that of the covenant in halo, except they dont have all religious stuff, instead they are more like just the elites

the New Dominion is like the Guidesmen, except with some changes, they have tentacles on their bodies, and sharp teeth, and some have other changes that they have mad on themselves through their genetic technology

Jihad are a big jumble of different races, mostly middle eastern style, although some are more advanced

well, this is a really bad, really quick paint picture i did in reply to a PM from darthinator, and i might as well share it, this is sorta what the guidesmens heads look like...


seen as i cant scan in my good pictures i drew, thats as close as i can get on paint
