Some songs just give you a great feeling of relaxation, and/or a delightful feeling of insight to something you just could not overcome before.
Sometimes songs just make you feel like your in a dream world, where everything will be amazing someday....
Some songs just make me smile all day after i've heard them.....
I like that kind of music.
What are some songs that make you dream of living better?;
Damien Rice - Coconut Skins
Radiohead - Nude
Guster - Satellite
Pink Floyed - The Great Gig in the Sky
Keane - A Bad Dream

....because what we are surrounded by is what we eventually become....

This is the place where all the junkies go, where time gets fast but everything gets slow.

I love Kamelot...I love them with a passion.
Also Within Temptation or Nightwish...and Orphaned Land...
Ah, we share some common ground. Though Anette ruined nightwish.
Add Delain, Breaking Benjamin and other related bands.

Kamelot - Lost & Damned/Memento Mori/March of Mephisto (Though basically I listen to their albums all together, as progressive of course)
Iron Maiden - Remember Tomorrow/Running Free/Phantom of the Opera/Transylvania/Strange World/Wrathchild/Children of the Damned/22 Acacia Avenue/The Number of the Beast/Hallowed Be Thy Name/Aces High/2 Minutes to Midnight/Powerslave/The Evil That Men Do (Yeah, shame its the only truely good one from that album)/Tailgunner/Bright Your Daughter...To the Slaughter/Be Quick or Be Dead/Judas Be My Guide (It's OK)/Fear of the Dark/Sign of the Cross/Man on the Edge/Futureal/The Clansman/The Wickerman/Blood Brothers/The Mercenary/The Fallen Angel (Haven't had a chance to listen to the latest album yet, but heres some B'Sides)/Rainbows Gold/Charlotte the Harlot '88 (Pretty good remake)/All In Your Mind/Judgement Day/Doctor Doctor
Dream Theater - The Ministry of Lost Souls/In the Presence of Enemies Pt 2/The Root of All Evil/Panic Attack
Sonata Arctica - Most of their albums. XD
Deathstars - Syndrome/New Dead Nation/Little Angel (Termination Bliss is their best album, so any song on their will do also. Their cover of White Wedding wasn't bad either, which leads onto...)
Billy Idol - Rebel Yell/Eyes Without a Face/Shock to the System/White Wedding
Guns N' Roses - Sweet Child of Mine/November Rain/Civil War/Knockin' on Heavens Door/Sympathy for the Devil (Mostly their stuff sounds good, whether it's exceptional or not. They still have a unique sound)
Tears for Fears - Sowing the Seeds of Love/Everybody Wants To Rule The World/Head Over Heels/Mad World/Shout
Loads more... CBA to list anymore, though I also like to listen to various game/film music and remixes. Emperor BFD, C&C, Crash Bandicoot (XD) and Resident Evil tracks are good, Sonic 1/2/3 have some excellent remixes I love and various films like Pirates of the Caribbean have great soundtracks. Basically I listen to anything I find has a good and... absorbingly obsessive tune.

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Gimme Three Steps.
Matchbox Twenty - How Far We've Come. (Or anything really, they're a generally happy band.)
Stratovarius - Liberty. (It's almost sickeningly uplifting.)
The Eagles - It's Your World Now. (And the rest of their new album. Fuckin' love it.)
Anti-Nowhere League - So What?

I like nearly all VGM music including anything from the C&C and Dune series. But nothing with VG vocals. >_>
