I ran into a wierd glitch yesterday...
I was defending a planet from an Imperial attack and I had just about finished them off. Right before the last AT-AT died, I got an exception error. The weird thing is that there were no bugs when I killed the first one. No heores were involved on either side and the Empire didn't make any bombing runs or orbital bombardments. I forget which planet it was on, but it had the Mon Calamari map (which bothered me because it wasn't Mon Calamari). Any idea what happened?

Ground is messed up big time so just auto resolve even if you lose a planet or two. They could have just started a bombing run too.

Honestly i've gotten alot of exception errors but the game auto saves and the second play through they don't happen and honestly i'm not gonna auto resolve a battle i know i can win but the computer is going to lose beicase of the units and numbers involved. so even if i have to through a wave of 60 or so imperial units twice i still keep my footholds even if i have lsot the space above.
