For example: the data on Wulf Yllaren(?) is missing. Where would I go in the xml files to be able to add the missing information? This would be something just for me to do, because I hate seeing the (Missing) tag in his description. I would also like to be able to do the planets that have missing information as well.

You have to use DATEditor to edit MasterTextEnglish.dat (located in PR\Data\Text folder). Just add tags & text for them. Look tags in appriopriate xmls (for planets it's planets.xml, for heroes look into unit_(i don't remember what)_[name]For example: the data on Wulf Yllaren(?) is missing.
