I have been working on adding the nebulon B2 to PR and decided to give it to the PR community. It is only buildable at the factory station so not to push out the ISD in the build bar for the empire. EDIT: Fixed the readme to add lucusarts and petro to the list of Contributers.
It is good as long as you read the install instructions.

Readme:
The Nebulon B2. It is armed with canon stats and is for now for both sides. Nonupgradable for now. Buildable at the X7 Factory station for skrmish. WARNING: ONLY USE WITH DalMP Aesthetics Pack .3B FOR PR. ALWAYS INSTALL THE Dalmp pack FIRST.
Install intructions:
Make a backup before trying. Copy the files in folders into there specified folder in the Phoenix Rising Data Folder. Example: The files in the XML folder would go into the Phoenix Rising/data/Xml folder and so on. Make sure you have the Dalmp pack installed before you install this.

Future plans: Upgrades, Making the commandbar file smaller so it will fit in 4mb.

Bugs: Uses the the Nebulon frigate symbol. I could not fit the commandbar in 4mb. I will upload it seperatly at a later date.

Pheonix Riseing, Who without we would not have the wonderfull Pheonix Rising Mod. Also all the xml files.(I used a copy of the Nebulon B xml to make the Nebulon B2.) Also the text files and all the icons exept for the nebulon 2B ones.

Dalmp, Without his pack the fireing and sound from the ship would not be anywhere near as good.

Keraunos, I would have never have gotten it working if it was not for the tips.

Hardpoint coding for the 2B only, Text entrys for the 2B only and the Nebulon 2B xml, Me, TheEmpire.

Feel free to use this in your mods. Anything that pheonix rising created ask him first unless it is a mod for pheonix rising. If you use this in any mod give credit to ME and the authors of the other material. DO NOT ADD THIS FILE TO BE DOWNLOADED ANYWHERE ELSE. THIS FILE SHOULD ONLY BE DOWNLOADABLE AT THE PHEONIX RISING FORUMS.

It is only buildable at the factory station so not to push out the ISD in the build bar for the empire. The first version will not have upgrades but the second will.

Interesting idea. Could you add it to PR enhanced? What do you mean when you say factory station?

I can add it to PR enhanced. The X7 Factory station for skrimish. It will have canon armerments. It may not be out today because I can not get it to work for some strange reason. This is my first ship I have ever added so It might take a while. I also cannot find the code for skrimish.

Yeah, PR is a bit different... and I don't know how to get it to work.
But I do know the code to make it buildable in skirmish is in the starbases.xml file. (The skirmish space stations are under the regular stations in the code.)

What's the diffrence between it and standard Nebulon EF76?

I figured that out. To make it buildable at a factory station is in the secondary structures XML. It will be out soon though more testing is needed. The B2 has better weapons and is faster with a larger hanger bay.

Er, right. I should have figured that out when you were talking about the factory station earlier.

Anyways, I can get the game to recognize my file is there, but it comes up with syntax errors and won't load it...

Has anybody had any luck with an actual new unit?
I suppose this is just a little taste of what PR had to go through...

Syntax errors are when you did not put the XML right. Like you forgot to put a end line. I used to get them but when I corrected the errors in the XML it loaded fine.

Get rid of syntax errors by opening the file in Internet Explorer. It will tell you about bad tags, ect. I'm still not sure about adding units, as the Bothan spy hasn't shown up yet, but I'm working on it.

The Nebulon B2 is great in battle but I think the texture is missing or something as it is white and black. It should be out today if I can get the texture working!
Edit: Now this is something it is covered with that no texture white and red symbols. I have the texture files in the right place. This may take a while...

Funny enough, that's what I was doing and IE never had a problem with it, but a plugin I found for Notepad++ says premature end of data on line 2. Considering I copied from a file that works and just changed the tags, **** you, XML. Eh, this isn't really the place for it, anyways.

Sorry, but I have to ask. You do have it referenced to the right file, right? Either way, I can't wait.

You have to reference texture files? If so how?

I have not tryed it for GC yet but I think I know how to get it to appear. It will be just for the Imps in GC but not in skrimish. In skrimish both sides can buy it from the X7 factory.

Got it working in GC but no upgrades yet. Quite good against a base level carrack. It can beat a fully upgraded one too.

I don't think the rebels used it too much. Also, the UI is crowded already. It's probably better to just give it to the Imps.
