There is no passion, there is serenity. There is no death, there is the Force.

More jedi heroes is a good idea, too. The problem is lack of models.actually i wouldn't say it was that far from canon really, more so for the rebels then the empire but still. there were alot of force sensitive agents that palpatine used. i different counter could simply be the fact that the rebels could get (and already do seem) to get more true force users. An idea could be to allow upgrade paths for characters like leia and kyle katarn to become jedi/gain jedi powers. i'm sure that there are other rebel/new republic heroes not in the game yet that could work like this too. personally i'd like to add Corran Horn but that's mainly due to the fact that he is one of my favorite characters and not due to any need for him.
Maybe we could have to have the master there to build the academy.well i guess it wouldnt be too far fetched, but I still like the idea of having one of the jedi masters present to build them, because the jedi were very few at the time.

They would be minor heroes, like Smugglers. Also, we could limit the total production, as skie suggested.Excellent idea, already exist in mods like AOTR 2.0, and fits it very well The only cons are lack of skins (probably solvable - there might be some mods with jedi skins available) and lack of GCW-support There were really very few jedi/sith then, and they should rather be treated as heroes, not regular units. That's my usual, conservative 0.02
Limits are good, and would make jedi more powerful, as they wouldn't be mass-producible.I like the idea of needing a master to build an academy, probably limit them to only specific planets like someone else said. Also we can always set limits on how many can be produced at any given time and how many can be trained total throughout the game, like some people have done for dreadnoughts.

Well the Rebels could get Jedi Guardians that could have very strong lightsaber powers but weak Force abilities, Jedi Consulars who would get the advanced force abilities like Force Wave and Force Crush and Jedi Sentinels who would have a middle ground approachThe only problem is added complexity. Also, how would we balance it out with the Rebels?

Interesting approach. So do you play KOTOR? (I'm guessing based on the names) It would work pretty well, actually.Well the Rebels could get Jedi Guardians that could have very strong lightsaber powers but weak Force abilities, Jedi Consulars who would get the advanced force abilities like Force Wave and Force Crush and Jedi Sentinels who would have a middle ground approachThe only problem is added complexity. Interesting. We could make it so that the basic type or types are producible without a hero, but the more advanced require a hero, and are probably only available in limited numbers.haha i was actually thinking about suggesting the exact same thing. If we go with special buildings or specific heroes to build minor jedi/sith then might it be possible to make it that like yoda/palpatine can produce each fraction's master/sith lord type and the balanced type (if it is even needed). Then Luke or Obi-wan/Vader could produce the more melee favored jedi and the balance one. It would kinda make more sense as how each would teach and might help with balance some since you need specific heroes to build certian types. though balance would be thrown off unless Rebel's get their Jedi right away... double bladed sword i guess

With jedi buildable with no heroes, knights with low-level force sensitive heroes, and masters with high-level heroes? That would be very good.how about just three differant classes, jedi, jedi knight, and jedi master, each with differant abilities?
Sure, and while masters are more powerful, they cost alot more money.
And also, the Empire should have three levels of dark siders to counter, not sith because of the rule of two. MAybe Dark Jedi, Emperor's Hands, and Prophets of the Dark Side? And also maybe they should be able to build Nightsisters on Dathomir.

The first is obvious. I don't know about Nightsisters, because the Rebels should be able to make force witches too. And I would replace Prophets with Inquisitors. With jedi buildable with no heroes, knights with low-level force sensitive heroes, and masters with high-level heroes?
