This post is really for TA. We are deciding on something about service depots. I would just like to know who uses them?

I love em. I usually have them repair apocs and grizzlys plus, gettin a TD out of a miner is a plus.

Although I voted 'yes', I feel I need to explain.

I rarely use them, and build them mostly in SP. To be honest, I usally only bother to get the Depot to be allowed to build an MCV... :roll:

yea i use em often on Code Red , because of the sodding strikes from the comps air force hurts it bad so yes

I don't because I'm usually just defending with buildings and when my unit attack is over... the enemy's wiped out.

yeah its mainly MCV construction but service depot is very handy when you don't have IFV's

No, I don't use Service Depots. I either IFV my breaking stuff, or kill the infested vehicle if repair will be too late.

That doesn't seem very Soviet like. Like in real life, the Soviets have trouble maintaining their equipment when I play as them. I usually just rush, the weak units in front to get shot first, in hopes of wasting their ammo. Hasn't worked yet.

I love to build Service Depot... because of the following reasons
1. to repair damaged vehicles, Including detach the terror drones from the "Infested" vehicles (only when I'm soviet players because Allies ownz IFV and enable to convert IFV into repair vehicles)
2. to build MCV

yes the soviet style is rushing but its good to keep light forces operating like flak tracks to protect base from rocketeers.

i do, mostly if i want to vetranize some. and for the MCV.
and repair some nearly dead tanks, one minus is that its too slow, maybe make it a bit faster?

yeah half repair time and cost..
